Travelers Championship: Corey Conners starts strong

Travelers Championship best bet: Corey Conners wins his group in three-ball betting (+115)
Mariners at Yankees: Battle in the Bronx

The Yankees and Mariners finish a three-game set in the Bronx on Thursday night. New York took the series opener 3-1 and followed that up with a 4-2 win on Wednesday.
This will be the Yankees’ first series win since placing Aaron Judge on the injured list. Judge, the reigning AL MVP, suffered a toe injury on June 3 when he ran into the wall while making a catch at Dodger Stadium. There’s been no word on when he will return to the lineup.
New York will give Domingo German the ball for the series finale on Thursday. German has a 4-4 record this season with a 4.30 ERA. In 69 innings pitched, he has 65 strikeouts and 23 walks.
Rookie Bryan Woo will take the mound for Seattle. Woo, who made his major league debut earlier this month, has an 0-1 record with an ugly 7.30 ERA. In 12.1 innings pitched, he has 20 strikeouts and two walks.
MLB best bet: Domingo German Over 5.5 strikeouts (-135)
Lions at Blue Bombers: Defence optional

It’s a battle of undefeated teams in Winnipeg on Thursday. Week 3 of the CFL season kicks off with the Blue Bombers hosting the B.C. Lions. You can expect high flying offence in this game with Zach Collaros quarterbacking Winnipeg and Vernon Adams Jr. under centre for the Lions. Through two weeks of the season, Collaros and Adams sit No. 1 and No. 2 in passing yards, respectively.
Collaros, the CFL’s Most Outstanding Player the last two seasons, has thrown for 647 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions with 72.1 completion percentage.
Adams has passed for 624 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions with 74.6 completion percentage. That completion percentage leads the league.
Winnipeg leads the CFL in offensive points scored, averaging 39 per game, as well as offensive touchdowns (nine). They also lead the league in offensive yards (437 per game). The Bombers have posted back-to-back 40-plus point games.
The Lions rank third in offensive points per game (23 average), second in offensive yards (426) and tied for second in offensive touchdowns (four). B.C. is coming off a 22-0 win against Edmonton, their first shutout victory since 1977.
CFL best bet: Game total Over 49.0 (-110)
