2026 CFL Week 11 Power Rankings: Alouettes lead the pack at the halfway point
By the end of Week 11, every team in the CFL will have officially played at least half of their 2026 schedule. That makes it a perfect time to check back in with our weekly CFL power rankings.
Montreal continues to be the cream of the crop, while Ottawa seems to be trying to set a new standard for futility.

1. Montreal Alouettes (1)
Record: 8-1
Week 10 result: W 48-30 vs. EDM
Week 11 opponent: Bye
If there was any doubt Montreal was the best team in the league, that was put to bed last week when they blew out the West Division-leading Elks by nearly 20 points. Davis Alexander continued to ball-out with 352 passing yards and four TDs, adding to his league-leading total of 3,140 passing yards. Tyson Philpot (1,154 yards, seven TDs) and Tyler Snead (940 yards, six TDs), who sit No. 1 and 2 in the league in receiving, have also been key to an Als attack that is first in almost every offensive category.
2. Saskatchewan Roughriders (2)
Record: 6-2
Week 10 result: W 42-20 vs. OTT
Week 11 opponent: @ HAM
The word for Saskatchewan in Week 10 was ‘depth’. With A.J. Ouellettee, Kian Schaffer-Baker and Samuel Emilus out of the lineup, Thomas Bertand Hudon led the team with 63 rushing yards, while short-distance quarterback specialist Tommy Stevens had three rushing TDs. The remaining stars also stepped up as KeeSean Johnson finished with a game-high 133 receiving yards and a score.
3. Edmonton Elks (3)
Record: 6-3
Week 10 result: L 48-30 @ MTL
Week 11 opponent: vs. TOR
Frankly, it was a wakeup call on both sides of the ball for the Elks in Week 10. Cody Fajardo was deceptively bad, with his only impact coming in garbage time, while Edmonton’s defence was torched for 481 yards of offence and six TDs. Edmonton seems to have the West handled, but they’re still a long way from competing with Montreal.
4. Toronto Argonauts (5)
Record: 4-4
Week 10 result: W 33-30 vs. CGY
Week 11 opponent: @ EDM
Toronto made the most of their much-anticipated home opener last week, beating the Stampeders on a last-minute field goal. It wasn’t all rainbows and sunshine, however, as Chad Kelly threw four interceptions for the second time this season. While Kelly is tied for third in passing TDs (18) this season, he’s also thrown a league-high 13 interceptions, including three games with multiple interceptions.
5. Calgary Stampeders (4)
Record: 4-5
Week 10 result: L 33-30 @ TOR
Week 11 opponent: vs. BC
Vernon Adams Jr.’s record-run of interception-free plays to start the season came to and end in Toronto. Adams was picked off twice against the Argos and only completed half of his passes for 159 yards. The upside was Calgary’s defence, which finished with five forced fumbles. Canadian Ben Labrosse particularly stood out with two interceptions.
6. B.C. Lions (6)
Record: 3-5
Week 10 result: W 27-24 vs. HAM
Week 11 opponent: @ CGY
Nathan Rourke didn’t look to be impacted in his return from a shoulder injury last week, throwing for 370 yards in a much-needed win over Hamilton. However, sloppy play and dropped passes led a closer result than it should have been. Justin McInnis and Jevon Cottoy stood out, finishing with 159 and 109 receiving yards respectively. That includes a key 82-yards touchdown play by McInnis in the second quarter.
7. Winnipeg Blue Bombers (8)
Record: 4-4
Week 10 result: Bye
Week 11 opponent: vs. OTT
Last week’s bye gives Winnipeg a chance to figure out what’s going on with their shockingly bad play at home this season. Seriously, this is a tale of two teams as the Bombers are a perfect 3-0 on the road, but just 1-4 at Princess Auto Stadium. The good news is franchise quarterback Zach Collaros is taking first-team reps at practice this week after missing the last four games with a neck injury.
8. Hamilton Tiger-Cats (7)
Record: 3-6
Week 10 result: L 27-24 @ BC
Week 11 opponent: vs. SSK
Even with Harrison Frost doing an admirable job at stepping in for Bo Levi Mitchell at quarterback, it just hasn’t been enough to keep Hamilton relevant in the standings. The Tabbies were never really in it against B.C. last week and things likely won’t get better when they face top contender Saskatchewan in Week 11.
9. Ottawa RedBlacks (9)
Record: 0-8
Week 10 result: L 42-20 @ SSK
Week 11 opponent: @ WPG
At this rate the RedBlacks are making a stab at becoming one of the worst teams in recent CFL history. Quarterback Jake Maier did about all you could expect with 339 passing yards and two TDs against the Riders, but no one else carried their weight. This team is so bad all-around that even kicker Lewis Ward missed two converts in Week 10.
