As of this writing, Katie Taylor is the -177 favourite on the odds board and she comes to this matchup with a flawless record of 22-0 with 6 KO’s. Her current knockout ratio stands at 27.3 per cent.

Chantelle Cameron also holds a perfect record of 17-0 with 8 KOs and a current knockout ratio of 47.1 per cent.

While Cameron has the advantage of being younger and stronger than Taylor, it could come down to experience. Cameron just hasn’t been in the ring with opponents as tough as the ones Taylor has fought and beaten.

The 32-year-old has been trying to get in the ring with Taylor for years, and will finally get her chance to defeat the undefeated. Cameron beat Jessica McCaskill last November to become undisputed champion. She spoke to the press about the daunting task of facing Taylor in her home country, saying:

“I’m no stranger to boxing away from home now, and to be going into Katie’s backyard for her homecoming is massive. I’m glad to be a part of history again like I was in Abu Dhabi. I know what I will be up against and that I am the underdog, but I relish that. The fight will be electric. We both are experienced, we are both game, and we are both are coming to win.”
