Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson Boxing Odds, Prediction: Countdown to the Problem Child vs. Iron Mike
A lot of the late betting action is coming in on Iron Mike, which has dropped Paul to a -200 favourite to win on the boxing odds while Tyson is +160. Juts last week Paul was -250 and Tyson was +190, so it’s worth keeping an eye on the shrinking line.

Jake Paul Boxing Odds
Paul’s professional boxing record looks great on paper at 10-1 (seven knockouts), but he’s cherrypicked opponents that are mostly retired MMA fighters who have lost a step. The Problem Child’s only fight against a real professional boxer, Tyson Fury, ended in a split decision loss and the younger brother of former heavyweight champion Tommy Fury is known more for his reality TV career rather than his boxing ability.
Still, Paul will have the upper hand against Tyson. At 27-years-old, Paul is 30 years younger than Tyson and he also has a three-inch height advantage and five-inch reach advantage. He’s much quicker than Tyson and his reach advantage will allow him to keep a safe distance.
The real question I have about this fight isn’t who will win, it’s whether it will be a knockout or decision. Paul is a capable enough boxer to knock out a man who had health issues postpone the first fight and is nearly in his 60s. But, will he want to? Paul’s whole brand is playing the heel and he’s great at it, but knocking out an immensely popular figure like Tyson is a terrible P.R. move.
Mike Tyson Boxing Odds
Say what you will about Tyson, one thing that can’t be argued is how great of boxer he was. The key word there is “was”. Tyson is regarded as one of the best heavyweight boxers of all-time, but he hasn’t fought professionally since 2005 and he hasn’t won since 2003.
Tyson’s best strength has always been his power and he’s still dangerous, even at 58-years-old. Any of the training videos he’s released in the lead up to this fight have shown him essentially working on the same set of combinations, so it looks like he has a very specific fight plan. But, as Tyson himself once said, “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face”.
Let’s be honest, Tyson won’t win this fight. Paul doesn’t pick opponents unless he’s absolutely sure he will win and Tyson is just another legendary name to add to Paul’s resume.
Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson Prediction
Obviously I’m picking Paul to win this fight, but I’m looking for better value than an outright win. I truly hope Paul isn’t dumb enough to leave Tyson lying on the mat and this essentially becomes a glorified sparring session that goes the distance.
