Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry Boxing Odds, Prediction: Will the Problem Child Dominate?
This was originally scheduled to be Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson, but Mike Perry was announced as a late replacement on June 11 following Tyson’s medical issues. The Paul-Tyson fight has been rescheduled for November 15.
Paul continues to face criticism for cherrypicking weaker opponents and that won’t change with Perry, who had a handful of fights in the UFC before shifting to bare-knuckle boxing.
Paul opened as a heavy -450 favourite to win on the boxing odds, with Perry sitting as a +300 underdog.

Jake Paul Boxing Odds
Paul is 9-1 since his professional boxing debut in 2020, with wins over former UFC stars like Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz. His only career loss came by split decision against Tommy Fury, the younger brother of former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury.
Critics have consistently pointed out that the 27-year-old Paul has faced undersized fighters who are well past the prime of their careers. Woodley was 39 when he fought Paul, Silva was 47 and Diaz was a 39-year-old who had never boxed professionally. All three of those fighters also competed at weightclasses below Paul’s preferred cruiserwieght (200 pounds).
The Problem Child has similarly stacked the deck in his favour against Perry. Paul outweighs Perry by roughly 30 pounds and he also holds a five-inch reach advantage. But for all the Paul detractors (myself included at times), the YouTube star has fully dedicated himself to boxing and he holds a pretty powerful right hand.
Mike Perry Boxing Odds
The 32-year-old Perry has done a little bit of everything, including a 15-fight stint in the UFC welterweight division between 2016 and 2021. “Platinum” Perry wasn’t exactly dominating in the UFC, however, finishing his Octagon career with a 7-8 record, including losses in four of his last five fights.
After Perry’s UFC contract expired, he made the move to fight in the middleweight and light heavyweight divisions of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. It’s been a successful transition as he’s a perfect 5-0 while earning quick knockout wins in his last three fights. He only has one previous professional boxing fight, which was a fourth-round KO loss against Kenneth McNeil in 2015.
Perry clearly doesn’t have a lot of boxing experience to draw on against Paul, but he should still be a decent challenge for the social media star. Bare-knuckle boxing has shown that Perry is an aggressive fighter in terms of power and relentlessness. He has power in both hands, a strong chin, and a desire to push through pain to punish his opponent.
Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry Prediction
Paul’s last two fights have been first-round knockout wins and six of his career wins have come by KO. Although not an elite boxer, Perry is still in the prime of his career so I see him sticking around longer than Paul’s last two opponents, but I don’t see this fight going the distance.
Give me Paul to win by KO/TKO (-120).
