2026 Super Bowl: Seahawks vs. Patriots touchdown predictions

The Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots meet up in Super Bowl 60 on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. at 6:30 p.m. ET.

It’s the second time these franchises have met in the Super Bowl, with Seattle coming up one yard short 11 years ago in a 28-24 setback to the Patriots in Super Bowl XLIX.

Seattle is making its fourth Super Bowl appearance and is looking for its second victory. New England is in its NFL-record 12th Super Bowl and is attempting to become the first franchise with seven wins in the big game, while avoiding becoming the first team with six losses.

Seahawks vs. Patriots Super Bowl LX Touchdown Scorer Odds and Betting Trends

As great as the Seahawks defence has been this season, it’s actually the worst unit, statistically, the Patriots have faced this postseason. New England has faced top-five defences in each of their three postseason games, with the Chargers (fifth), Texans (first), and Broncos (second). Combined with putrid weather, the Patriots scored just four total offensive touchdowns, all through the air.

RB Rhamondre Stevenson, who is +130 to score and +850 to score the first TD, has not found the end zone this postseason for New England. RB TreVeyon Henderson, who led the team with nine rushing touchdowns in the regular season, is not even on the board.

Conversely, no player for either team has benefited more from the current situation than Seattle’s RB Kenneth Walker III. With backfield partner Zach Charbonnet, who led the team with 12 rushing touchdowns during the regular season, on IR, Walker has dominated the postseason, scoring four times in just two games.

Anytime touchdown scorer best bet: Jaxon Smith-Njigba (-115)

Walker III is as close to a sure bet to find the end zone on Sunday, but he is currently -190 to score.  For shorter odds, go with the league’s best wideout this season (sorry, Puka Nacua), in Smith-Njigba, who had a league-leading 1,793 receiving yards to go with 10 touchdowns this season.  After finding the end zone 10 times in 17 regular-season contests, JSN has scored a touchdown in each of the Seahawks’ two playoff victories.

Now, remember, the Patriots have had the top statistically performing defensive unit in the postseason, allowing just an average of 8.7 points in three games, including just two total touchdowns. The Pats defence is legit, and they have not allowed a rushing TD since a mop-up score to the Jets Breece Hall in the fourth quarter for a 42-10 victory in Week 17. The better bet is for New England to surrender a TD through the air in the Super Bowl, and Smith-Njigba is the prime target.

Anytime touchdown scorer: Rhamondre Stevenson (+130)

Yes, Stevenson has not scored in three postseason games this season. Yes, six of his nine total regular-season scores came against the Jets, Dolphins, and Titans. However, the fifth-year back is averaging 17 carries per game in the postseason, and has seven receptions as well. Meanwhile, Henderson, a rookie revelation in the second half of the regular season, has only totalled 24 carries in the playoffs.

New England has to control the clock to have any chance against the Seahawks. Drake Maye will attempt to move the chains with both his arms and his legs, but the running game has got to make some headway. That means carries for Stevenson, and I see him getting his first postseason score.

First touchdown scorer: Cooper Kupp (+1300)

In 2021, Kupp led the NFL with a ridiculous 145 receptions for 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns. He topped that off with eight receptions for 92 yards and two scores and the MVP award in the Los Angeles Rams’ 23-20 Super Bowl LVI victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. Now, injuries and father time have caught up to the 32-year-old, who was discarded by the Rams in the offseason.

Kupp had just 47 catches for 593 yards and two touchdowns in his first season with Seattle, but he scored in what must have been a satisfying win over the Rams in the NFC Championship Game. What a show if he could start the scoring on Sunday. He has very attractive odds as a long shot.
