Rams vs. Seahawks NFL Playoffs NFC Championship Game Player Prop Predictions

Three divisions in the NFC have been left out of the party. A spot in the Super Bowl comes down to a pair of NFC West rivals in the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks. After they split two thrilling games during the regular season, the stage is set for what should be an epic NFC Championship Game.

Individual star power will be on display, too. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford has a good chance to win NFL MVP honours, while Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba is a massive favourite to be named Offensive Player of the Year.

Rams vs. Seahawks NFC Championship Game Player Prop Odds and Betting Trends

At -165 odds, Seattle running back Kenneth Walker III is the most likely player to find the end zone in the NFC Championship Game. And why not? Walker erupted for three touchdowns in his team’s 41-6 romp over San Francisco in the previous round. Among Rams players, Puka Nacua (-105) has the best chance to find the end zone. He has scored at least one TD in four of the last five games.

As for the two quarterbacks, the respective yardage quotas for Matthew Stafford and Sam Darnold are 249.5 and 235.5. Stafford has exceeded that number in seven straight games; Darnold has stayed under 200 yards in his past three outings.

Kenneth Walker III Over 87.5 rushing yards (-115)

With RB Zach Charbonnet having sustained a torn ACL against the 49ers, the Seahawks’ backfield now entirely belongs to Walker. After Charbonnet went down early in last weekend’s game, Walker got a season-high 19 carries and used them to amass 116 yards to go along with his three touchdowns. Even when he was splitting time with Charbonnet, Walker still torched Los Angeles in each of the two regular season meetings – racking up a combined 167 yards and two touchdowns on 27 attempts.

The Michigan State product pinned 100 yards on the Rams in Week 16 despite carrying a modest 11 times. He should be in line for more success against an L.A. defence that gave up 110.8 rushing yards per game on 4.3 yards per carry during the regular season. It’s also worth noting that Walker has gained at least 97 yards in three of the last four contests overall.

Puka Nacua Over 92.5 receiving yards (-118)

It may be a cliché, but that’s because it’s true: the best players step up in the biggest games, and Nacua has done that throughout his young career. In five total playoff games, the 24-year-old has already delivered performances of 181, 97, and 111 yards. That 111-yard effort came two weeks ago against Carolina.

Although Nacua is facing a stout Seattle defence, it is a unit that will still be having nightmares about him from their recent head-to-head showdown in Week 16. The BYU product went wild against the Seahawks to the tune of 12 catches for 225 yards and two touchdowns on 16 targets.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba anytime touchdown (-105)

Smith-Njigba has been a red-zone force this season, which is part of the reason why he is such an overwhelming favourite for OPOY. The former Ohio State standout scored 10 touchdowns and added another in Seattle’s recent victory over San Francisco.

JSN enjoyed plenty of success the last time these two teams collided, making eight receptions on 13 targets for 96 yards and one TD. At close to even money, he has great value to find the end zone on Sunday.
