Toronto Raptors vs. Portland Trail Blazers Prediction, NBA Odds

The Toronto Raptors look to extend their winning ways on their current five-game road trip with a third straight win when they visit the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night in NBA betting action at Moda Center. The Raptors rolled to a decisive 122-109 victory in Sacramento on Wednesday night to improve to 7-4 in their past 11 road contests and pull even with New York in the race for third place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Trail Blazers opened their brief two-game home stand with Thursday’s decisive 127-110 win over Miami, and have climbed into ninth place in the West while winning eight of nine on home court and four straight overall.

The Raptors’ recent road warrior ways have helped lift them to 3.5-point favourites on Friday’s NBA odds. The Trail Blazers lag as +135 underdogs on the NBA moneyline, and the total is pegged at 226.5.

Raptors vs. Trail Blazers NBA Betting Odds

The Raptors claimed a 121-118 win when the Trail Blazers visited Scotiabank Arena back on December 2, snapping a four-game head-to-head losing streak. However, the club has posted just one victory in their past five trips to Portland, and have lost outright in their past two dates with the Blazers as road chalk. So far this season, the Raptors have gone 6-4 straight up in 10 dates as road favourites, covering the spread five times over that stretch, and have gone 4-1 ATS in their past five overall road contests.

The Blazers have emerged as one of the hottest teams in the NBA since the start of the New Year, and have gone 4-1 SU in their past five as road underdogs. Portland has also performed well when playing in the back half of games played on back-to-back nights, going 6-2 SU and 7-1 ATS so far this season.

Toronto Raptors

The Raptors have had to contend with a wave of injuries that have sidelined RJ Barrett, Collin Murray-Boyles, Ja’Kobe Walter, and Jakob Poeltl. However, the club’s continued health concerns have simply provided chances for other players to strut their stuff. In Tuesday’s 145-127 win over Golden State, it was Immanuel Quickley’s turn. The 26-year-old matched a career high with 40 points and 10 assists to post his second double-double in five games, and followed up with an 18-point, eight-assist effort the following night versus the Kings.

Quickley has averaged 19.3 points and 6.1 helpers so far in the January, including eight assists per game on the road, and is worth backing as a -115 bet on the NBA player props to record OVER 23.5 points + assists on Friday. Sandro Mamukelashvili has also stepped up in place of Poltl. Mamu scored 22 points in Wednesday’s win to go along with nine rebounds and has averaged 18.7 points and nine boards through the first three games of this road trip, making him an intriguing +333 bet to record his second double-double in three games and his fifth since Christmas.

Portland Trail Blazers

The Trail Blazers got some good news on the condition of Deni Avdija, who was forced to leave Thursday’s game due to injury. Portland’s leading scorer has been hobbled by a nagging back injury but head coach Tiago Splitter stated after Thursday’s game that the 25-year-old big man should be good to go for Friday night. Avdija has played an enormous role in the Trail Blazer’s recent resurgence, averaging 29 points in eight appearances so far this month but has seen his production dip in the past few games after averaging 34.3 points in his first four appearances of 2026. Shaedon Sharpe has also been a steady offensive force, scoring 27 points in each of the past two games and has emerged as a short -125 bet to pick up OVER 27.5 points + rebounds on Friday.
