UFC Vegas 112 Preview, Predictions: Neil Magny aiming for a third straight finish

The final UFC event of 2025 is set to take place this weekend: UFC Vegas 112. It is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, and will be held at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. This event will feature 13 fights, including a main event in the UFC flyweight division between the No. 2-ranked flyweight, Brandon Royval, and the No. 6-ranked flyweight, Manel Kape.

My article will break down three fights across the main and preliminary cards, and I’ll share my best bet for each.

Brandon Royval vs. Manel Kape best bet: Fight to go the Distance – No (-165)

My top pick for UFC Vegas 112 will target the main event between Brandon Royval and Manel Kape to end inside the distance.

Royval enters this fight with an MMA record of 17-8 and 7-4 in the UFC. Throughout his career, Royval has been an excellent striker, averaging 5.55 significant strikes per minute.

Kape, on the other hand, enters this fight with an MMA record of 21-7 and a 6-3 mark in the UFC. His most recent win was against Asu Almabayev back in March 2025 by KO/TKO. Like Royval, Kape also prefers to stand up and strike, averaging 5.04 significant strikes per minute.

Royval has seen 15 of his 28 career MMA fights end inside the distance, while Kape has seen 20 of his 28 career MMA fights do the same. For that reason, backing this fight to end inside the distance (-165) is my best bet.

Melquizael Costa vs. Morgan Charriere best bet: Melquizael Costa ML (-115)

My second pick for UFC Vegas 112 is Melquizael Costa defeating Morgan Charriere on the main card.

Costa enters this fight with an MMA record of 24-7 and is 5-2 in the UFC. His most recent fight was a win against Julian Erosa via unanimous decision in May 2025. Costa’s fighting style is balanced, as he averages 4.44 significant strikes per minute, 1.96 takedowns every 15 minutes, and 1.2 submission attempts every 15 minutes.

However, Costa is in much better form, having won five of his last six UFC fights, while Charriere is an inconsistent 3-2 in the UFC, having never won back-to-back fights. Additionally, Costa has the advantage in striking volume and is better at forcing submissions.

Given that Costa has been a much more consistent fighter, backing Costa to win (-115) is my play.

UFC Neil Magny vs. Yaroslav Amosov best bet: Fight to go the Distance – No (-150)

My final best bet for UFC Vegas 112 is on the preliminary card, and I predict that the Neil Magny and Yaroslav Amosov bout will end inside the distance.

Amosov will be making his UFC debut in this fight, but is still the overwhelming favourite. Throughout his career, he has seen 21 of his 29 fights end inside the distance. Magny, on the other hand, has seen 24 of his 44 MMA fights end inside the distance, which includes his last five UFC fights in a row. For that reason, backing this fight to end inside the distance (-150) is my play.
