Falcons vs. Panthers Point Spread: NFL Week 10 Odds, Prediction
The Panthers are 3-point underdogs on the NFL odds.
NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis

Both Atlanta and Carolina were expected to be pretty bad this season as they rebuild, but the Falcons have overachieved and might actually win the NFC South only because that division is so terrible with Tampa Bay surprisingly struggling. The Panthers are as bad as expected, fired their coach already and traded away two of their best players (Christian McCaffrey, Robbie Anderson).
One of the wildest games of the season was Week 8 in Atlanta when the Falcons beat the Panthers 37-34 in overtime. The game looked over when Carolina’s PJ Walker hit DJ Moore on an improbable 62-yard touchdown pass with just 12 seconds left. All the Cats needed was the PAT, but Moore took his helmet off to celebrate and was penalized 15 yards. Eddy Pineiro then missed the long PAT and Atlanta won an OT field goal. D’Onta Foreman was a monster for the Panthers with 118 yards and three TDs on 26 carries. Marcus Mariota threw for 253 yards and three scores for the Falcons but two picks.
The road team has covered in five straight meetings.
Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons were beaten 20-17 at home by the Chargers on Sunday. Cameron Dicker kicked a 37-yard game-ending field goal three days after being signed as a free agent. Marcus Mariota was held to just 129 yards passing, the fifth time in nine starts that Mariota has been held under 150 passing yards. Top running back Cordarrelle Patterson returned after missing four games injured and had 13 carries for 44 yards and two touchdowns. The Falcons rushed for 201 yards – usually that means a win. The loss prevented Atlanta from moving above .500 for the first time since 2017. Starting guard Chris Lindstrom left with a knee injury. Atlanta is 5-1 ATS in its past six vs. the NFC.
Carolina Panthers
Carolina was stomped 42-21 at Cincinnati on Sunday – it was 35-0 at the half. The Panthers were held to 228 yards and 13 first downs. The Bengals allowed P.J. Walker just 9 passing yards and intercepted him twice in the first half, chasing the former XFL QB to the bench in favor of Baker Mayfield to start the second. In a bit of a surprise, Walker is expected to start again Thursday and Mayfield will remain the backup. Interim head coach Steve Wilks said the short week and Walker’s performance in the first meeting with Atlanta played a factor in his decision. On Monday, Wilks fired cornerbacks coach Evan Cooper and defensive line coach Paul Pasqualoni. The Panthers are 3-9 ATS in their past 12 vs. the NFC.
