The Ducks can point to an incredible string of injuries as the source of some of their struggles this season – and the hits keep coming, with star centre Ryan Getzlaf a major question mark for Tuesday due to an upper-body injury that resulted in him being a late scratch prior to the loss to the Kings. It has been a dismal season for Getzlaf, who has 47 points in 63 games and is in danger of posting his first sub-50-point season since the lockout-shortened 2012-13 campaign.

The well has run dry for the Canucks, who scored just one total goal in losses to the Blue Jackets and Calgary Flames. But rookie sensation Elias Pettersson is still chugging along as a lock to win the Calder Trophy, averaging nearly a point per game for the season, That said, the Canucks would love to see him light the lamp as he comes into the game with just one goal through 11 games so far this month.
