The Bachelor Women Tell All: A Rozlyn Papa Crucifixion

Here we are at The Bachelor: The Women Tell All where 25 women are contractually obligated to relive their reality TV humiliation via clips we’ve already seen and Chris Harrison’s scripted digs. However, on this week’s filler episode we revisit RozlynGate, or what Chris Harrison refers to as the “10,000-pound elephant in the room” where Rozlyn, who supposedly had an affair with a Bachelor producer, returns to get absolutely crucified by Chris Harrison as well as the jackals posing as bachelorettes.

In case you missed the most dramatic episode ever, Rozlyn Papa, the 28-year-old model who scored a rose on the group date as well as a make-out session with bachelor Jake, was sent packing after having an “inappropriate relationship” with a producer. Since then, there has been a barrage of he-said-she-said type articles published where Rozlyn has bashed ABC and vice versa.

On the Women Tell All episode, after several of the women shared their sordid claims of Rozlyn doing bad things, Chris Harrison finally summoned the lady in question, who had been kept backstage like a prize chicken. To ensure that Rozlyn didn’t violate bystanders with her inappropriateness, a heavy-set security guy escorted her to the stage. Yes, ABC wanted viewers to understand that this woman is dangerous

Harrison started off cool, telling Rozlyn that he had ”no ill will” toward her.

“You have denied, or even said we fabricated, much of what was reported. So I want to start with what is true, in your mind,” he began.

Rozlyn, however, took the “nothing happened” stance and would not back down. Harrison tried to get her to crack, but was unsuccessful. He then enlisted the help of the other women, who began throwing out tales of Rozlyn’s groping of  producer thigh and other such atrocities – stories met with exaggerated looks of astonishment from Rozlyn.

Rozlyn turned to Chris Harrison and questioned how cameras, placed all over the bachelorette mansion, could have missed her torrid affair with the producer.

“We know what we’re going to use, you know very well that we don’t shoot you 24/7, don’t have microphones, there is a lot of downtime,” Harrison said. “We’re not running a Las Vegas casino, we’re not worried about you stealing anything. We’re trying to shoot a television show. And the producers know, especially if it’s an overnight producer, where the cameras are going to be.”

The back and forth between Rozlyn and Harrison continued until Rozlyn ultimately won. Referring to Harrison’s claim that he was torn up over the producer being fired, Rozlyn commented: ”I said [producer], ‘Chris Harrison seems really upset, because he says he’s a friend of yours.’ He said that’s news to him, especially when you were hitting on his wife in New Zealand.”

Harrison snapped back, ”I clearly won’t dignify that with a response” and tried to get the last word by telling Rozlyn he hopes she learns a life lesson from this and will become a better person.

Next week is the finale and it’s down to the final two: Tenley, who repeatedly reminds Jake that her husband cheated on her but she has her whole heart to give – and Vienna – who earned Jake’s affections by comforting him while he cried like a girl during a bungee jump. Yes, my little Bachelor hungry fiends, Jake will propose to just one woman while another woman’s reality TV happily-ever-after will be shattered into a million billion pieces.
