The Maple Leafs travel to Beantown after rolling to a 5-2 victory in Chicago on Sunday night, and have now claimed victory in four of their past five road contests. The Bruins saw their playoff hopes dimmed with Saturday’s 3-2 loss to Anaheim, which extended their current losing streak to three games. The Bruins have now lost five of seven overall and enter Tuesday’s action trailing the Ottawa Senators and Columbus Blue Jackets by a single point in the race for the second wild card in the Eastern Conference.

The Leafs arrive in Beantown leading the way as -155 road favourites on the Tuesday NHL odds. The Bruins trail as +130 underdogs and the total is pegged at 6.0.

Goals have come at a premium for the Bruins, who have potted just seven total goals during their current three-game slide and just 2.60 goals per game over their past 10 outings. Overall, the Bruins have scored just once after 40 minutes over the past three games and have blown third-period leads twice over that stretch.

Morgan Geekie has been one of the few productive Boston shooters, bulging the twine in three of the past fur games. Brad Marchand has produced at a point-per0game clip over the past eight games and David Pastrnak has piled up 11 goals and 16 assists during a 14-game points streak but has failed to score in four of his past five on home ice.
