Golden Knights vs. Canucks NHL Betting Odds
Tuesday night’s matchup at Rogers Arena marks the fourth and final regular season meeting between these Pacific Division rivals. The Golden Knights have taken two of three from Vancouver this season, but dropped a 5-1 decision to the Canucks on home ice last Wednesday. Overall, Vegas has dominated the Canucks since joining the NHL in 2017, winning 10 of 13 regular season clashes, and going 5-0-1 in six visits to Vancouver. Dates between these clubs at Rogers Arena have been hard fought, with four of six all-time clashes getting settled in overtime or by shootout. However, seven of the Golden Knights’ 10 all-time wins over Vancouver have come by multi-goal margins.
The Golden Knights have filled the net during their late-season surge, averaging 4.14 goals per game during their 6-1-0 run. However, scoring has come at a premium on the road. The club has shown signs of busting out while outscoring opponents by an 11-4 margin during a three-game away win streak after averaging just 1.89 goals per game while losing eight of their previous nine road contests. The Canucks have enjoyed a similar offensive resurgence, outgunning opponents by a 14-4 margin during a three-game win streak after mustering two or fewer goals on seven occasions while losing nine of their previous 12. And while Saturday’s home win over the Sharks was welcome, the club has failed to tally consecutive victories while going 2-4-3 over their past nine home dates.
Vegas Golden Knights
The Golden Knights hope to have their captain back in the lineup for the first time since early February when they hit the ice on Tuesday night. Mark Stone has been sidelined by a back injury, and is traveling with the club on their current three-game road trip. However, both his injury and a current salary cap crunch have forced the club to list him as a game-time decision. Max Pacioretty returned to action on Saturday after a month-long absence, and potted the game winner in the club’s victory over the visiting Coyotes.
Vancouver Canucks
The Canucks enjoy a three-game win streak despite losing Brock Boeser to an upper body injury that will sideline him indefinitely. Boeser is the latest player to head to the clinic, joining Nils Hoglander and Tanner Pearson, who are also out for the foreseeable future. Bo Horvat has led the attack during the team’s surge, tallying four goals and six points during a four-game point streak.
