The Canucks are coming off a 3-0 victory in Toronto on Saturday and close out their current five-game road trip looking for just their fourth victory in 13 games overall. The Jets also claimed a 3-0 victory on Saturday, over the Colorado Avalanche and have now picked up at least a point in the first four games of their current eight-game home stand.

The Jets hot the ice at Canada Life Centre perched as -160 home favourites on the Tuesday NHL odds. The Canucks trail as +130 underdogs and the total is pegged at just 5.5.

Canucks vs. Jets NHL Betting Odds

Tuesday night’s matchup marks the first of three regular season meetings between these Western Conference rivals. The Jets took two of three from the Canucks last season and have now topped Vancouver in five of six head-to-head clashes and in each of their past three dates in Winnipeg. Each of the past seven meetings between these teams has been settled by a multi-goal margin, with Winnipeg scoring at least four goals in five of six tilts. However, goals have come at a premium for the previously high-flying Jets, who have potted just 2.67 goals per game during their current 2-2-2 run. Low scoring has been a recurring theme during the Canucks’ current swoon. The club has scored just eight total goals while losing four of their past five. However, Vancouver has also allowed just four total goals over their past three contests and rank third in the league with a team goals against average of just 2.52 on the road this season.

Vancouver Canucks

While the Canucks have benefitted from steady goaltending and stingy defensive play, they must find ways to generate offence if they are to keep pace with the Calgary Flames, whom they trail by one point in the battle for the second Western Conference wild card. Quinn Hughes has provided the limited spark on offence since returning from an injury that sidelined him for four games over the Holidays. Hughes tallied a goal and an assists in Toronto on Saturday and has now racked up 10 total points during a six-game points streak. Elias Pettersson also got on the scoresheet in his second game back after missing six contests dur to injury. However, things have not gone as well for veteran JT Miller, who has failed to collect a point in three straight games and scored a goal in just one of his past eight road games.

Winnipeg Jets

After getting lit up for 13 total goals during a three-game slide, the Jets have settled down, outscoring opponents by a 9-4 margin while going 2-0-1 over their past three games. Goaltender Connor Hellebuyck has rebounding after opening 2025 by allowing seven total goals in consecutive home losses, stopping 48 of 50 total shots while winning his past two starts including his sixth shutout of the season on Saturday versus the Avs. An upper body injury that forced him to miss nine games in December has not slowed down Nik Ehlers, who potted a pair of goals in Saturday’s win and 13 total points in 11 games since his return. Kyle Connor has also recorded four points through the first five games of 2025, but the Jets sniper has bulged the twine just once in seven games.
