The Celtics return home after closing out a four-game road trip with Monday’s 123-93 victory in Atlanta that also extends their current win streak to three games. The Warriors made it four in a row with Monday’s 125-112 win in Washington and continue their current six-game road trip sporting a perfect 4-0 away record this season.

The Celtics lead the way as 7.5-point favourites on the Wednesday NBA odds. The Warriors trail as +240 underdogs on the NBA moneyline and the total is listed at 229.5.

Warriors vs. Celtics NBA Betting Odds

The Celtics will be looking to take two in a row from the Dubs for the first time in almost four years. Overall, these clubs have taken turns winning over their past six meetings, with the home team claiming the victory five times over that stretch. But historically, the Celtics still hold the edge, winning 11 of 17 regular season meetings since 2015 including five of their past seven dates on home parquet.

However, the Warriors have enjoyed success on the NBA odds, covering in three of four dates with the Celtics, all as betting underdogs. The Celtics have posted three straight wins by double-digit margins, but have still managed to go just 3-3 against the spread in their past six. Conversely, the Warriors have covered in four straight and are unbeaten ATS as betting underdogs so far this season.

Golden State Warriors

On Monday night, the Warriors welcomed Stephen Curry back to the lineup after missing three games with an ankle injury. Curry responded by scoring a team-high 24 points in just 24 minutes before leaving Monday’s 125-112 win over the Wizards as a precautionary measure. Curry said afterwards that his recovery from his recent injury is going well and he expects to see his playing time increase in Boston.

Curry has seen action in just four games this season, averaging 19.8 points, but has scored at least 29 points in 11 of his past 13 appearances against Boston. Veteran Buddy Hield enters Wednesday’s action leading the Warriors with 21.9 points per game and has averaged 24 points per game on the road.

Boston Celtics

The Celtics maintained their dominating pace with another lopsided victory on Monday night and have now seen six of their seven wins to date come by double-digit margins. Not surprisingly, the Celtics are currently tops in the NBA with 123.6 points scored per game and should benefit further from an upcoming schedule that sees them play seven of their next 10 at home.

Jayson Tatum has led the attack, compiling a team-high 30 points per game, but has struggled to consistently put up big numbers against GSW, averaging just 23.5 points over his past four appearances. Tatum will not have the benefit of Jaylen Brown’s presence on Wednesday. Brown has been ruled out versus the Warriors due to a hip injury that has forced him to miss the past two games. The injury interrupts an impressive start to the season for brown, who averaged 25.8 points through his first six outings.
