Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers Prediction, NBA Odds

They recently saw their seven-game winning streak come to an end but already picked up a huge win over the Brooklyn Nets to follow up, winning by 18 points. Now they get the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road, a squad that is in the middle of a rebuild. The Cavaliers are 9-7 on the year but walk into this one with back-to-back losses to the Boston Celtics and the Nets. Will they be able to bounce back and knock off one of the best teams in the league?

Warriors vs. Cavaliers NBA Betting Odds

Golden State is undefeated against the spread in their last six games when going up against a team with a winning straight up record on the season. They are also 5-1-1 ATS in their past seven when coming into the matchup on just one day of rest. The Warriors have just completely dominated the Cavaliers against the spread lately, beating them seven out of their last eight matchups.

On the other hand, the Cavaliers are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games overall but are a measly 2-5-1 ATS when coming into the second half of a back-to-back. They are also 0-5 ATS in their past five games played at home against a team with a road winning percentage above .600 on the season. The under has been really consistent for them also, cashing out in their last four games overall and their last four when getting zero days of rest in between.

Golden State Warriors

The Warriors have been so good this season because of Steph Curry. He is once again playing like an MVP, averaging 28.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 1.7 steals per game. Nobody has been able to stop him as he seems to get whatever shots he wants whenever he wants them. Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole have been excellent contributors to Steph’s rampage though, adding on 18.1 and 17.1 points per game themselves. Don’t forget about the impact Draymond Green brings defensively as he recently just held Kevin Durant to 0-8 shooting when they played the Nets a few days ago. Golden State is well rounded and incredibly tough to beat right now.

Cleveland Cavaliers

Despite the loss, the Cleveland Cavaliers are doing surprisingly well. Unfortunately, they will be without Collin Sexton for the remainder of the season after he suffered an injury but they still have some great pieces on this roster. Darius Garland is definitely one of them, averaging 16.8 points, 2.2 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game. Cleveland is also opting to roll with three big men out there on most occasions, with Jarrett Allen and Lauri Markkanen playing well together. Ricky Rubio has played surprisingly well. He had a huge 38-point game recently and has been a major cog in this offense since Sexton’s injury.
