Milwaukee has just one win in their last five games and they come into this contest off a 103-99 loss in Charlotte on Monday.  The Warriors have also been struggling as they’ve gone 1-3 over their last four games, including a 116-108 loss in Memphis on Tuesday.

The Bucks are 1.5-point favourites to win on the NBA odds, with a total of 224.0.

Warriors vs. Bucks NBA Betting Odds

These teams split the two-game season series last year, with the home team coming out on top in each contest.  Just under 60 per cent of Sports Interaction bettors are taking Milwaukee in this one, while about 70 per cent of action is taking the Over.

Golden State has generally be fine with travelling to the East as they’re 11-2 straight up in their last 13 games against Eastern Conference opponents.  They’re 23-15-2 against the spread for the season, but they’ve failed to cover in four of their last five games.  The total has gone Over in five of the Warriors’ last seven road games.

The Bucks have also been good in out-of-conference games, going 7-1 in their last eight against Western Conference teams.  They’re 19-24 ATS this season and have failed to cover in four of their last five games.  The total has gone Under in four of Milwaukee’s last five games.

Golden State Warriors

Steph Curry posted his second triple-double of the season on Tuesday, finishing with 27 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in the loss to Memphis.  Klay Thompson was Golden State’s next highest scorer at 14 points.  Thompson played 20 minutes in his second game back since ACL and Achilles injuries kept him out of the lineup for over two years.  The Warriors are second in the Western Conference, so the team will likely try to slowly ease Thompson back into the lineup.  Even with limited minutes, however, Thompson still provides some valuable offensive support for Curry, who averages a team-high 26.8 points per game.

Golden State’s roster is fairly healthy overall, but they’ll still be missing one big piece for this game.  Draymond Green will miss his fourth straight game (third if you count the seven seconds he played against Cleveland) with left calf tightness.  Green is averaging 7.9 ppg and has team high’s in rebounds (7.6), assists (7.4) and blocks (1.2).

Milwaukee Bucks

Khris Middleton (27 points, 11 assists) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (26 points, 13 rebounds) each finished with double-double in Milwaukee’s losing effort against Charlotte.  Jordan Nwora added 18 points, while Bobby Portis had five points and 11 rebounds.  With Jrue Holiday missing the last three games with an ankle injury, Middleton has shifted to starting point guard.  Middleton has back-to-back 27-point games, but he’s also committed 13 turnovers in those games.  Antetokounmpo continues to be the backbone of this team, averaging team-highs in points (28.4, third in NBA), rebounds (11.4) and blocks (1.4).

Holiday is listed as doubtful to play Thursday.  That’s a big loss for the Bucks as Holiday is third on the team with 18.4 ppg and he averages team-highs in assists (6.7) and steals (1.6).  George Hill (COVID protocols) is also listed as doubtful, while Grayson Allen (COVID protocols) has been upgraded to probable.
