Phoenix Suns vs. Toronto Raptors Point Spread: NBA Odds, Prediction
Devin Booker is one of the NBA’s brightest young stars and he’s hoping to help the Phoenix Suns gain their second win in as many nights when they visit the ACC to face the Raptors.
NBA Spread and Betting Analysis
The Raptors opened as 13.5-point chalk on the NBA odds board with the total set at 224.5.
Toronto last played on Friday when it won but failed to cover as a 7-point home favorite against the Indiana Pacers. The three-day break is the longest layoff between games for the Raptors so far this season. The Dinos are 14-7 straight up and 12-9 against the spread on the year with a 10-11 over/under mark.
The Suns stunned the Sixers winning outright 115-101 as 10-point road underdogs. The victory improved Phoenix’s record to 9-16 SU and 11-13-1 ATS. The over is also 15-10 in their 25 games so far this year.
Phoenix Suns
Devin Booker was cooking on Monday night. The third year guard out of Kentucky shot 17 for 32 from the field, including 5-for-8 from 3-point land, and finished with 46 points and eight rebounds. Booker has reached the 30-point mark in three of his last four games and is averaging 34.75 points over the hot stretch.
Small forward TJ Warren is a professionally bucket-getter and really the only other offensive threat for the Suns. The Raptors wing players will have to be ready for Warren’s bully-ball style and Booker’s feathery touch.
Toronto Raptors
On Nov. 6, Toronto was coming off a disappointing home loss to a Wizards team playing without All-Star point guard John Wall. The loss brought the Raps’ record down to 5-4 in a disappointing start to the season.
The club has gone on to win nine of its next 12 games including at Houston against the West-leading Rockets. The Raptors own the fourth best net rating (9.4) in the Association over the last 12-game sample size behind only the Rockets, Warriors and Cavaliers.
