The Bucks return home after extending their current straight up win streak to three games with Friday’s 118-112 victory in Chicago. The Suns kick off a three-game road trip on a two-game surge, but will be without the services of Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Cameron Johnson, and Frank Kaminsky on Sunday afternoon.

The Suns’ injury woes have taken their toll at the sportsbook, where they have garnered the support of just 42% of sports bettors while dipping to 9-point underdogs. The Bucks have rocketed to heavy -402 moneyline favourites to tally a fourth straight home victory. And after briefly sinking to 229.5, the total has vaulted to 231.5, with 74% of bets getting laid on the OVER.

Suns vs. Bucks NBA Betting Odds

Sunday afternoon’s matchup at Fiserv Forum marks the meeting in Milwaukee between these clubs since the Bucks claimed the NBA championship with a home win in Game 6 of last season’s NBA Finals. Milwaukee overcame a 0-2 deficit on their way to victory in last season’s Finals, but has struggled against the Suns in regular season action. The Suns marched to a 131-107 win they hosted Milwaukee on February 10, and have now claimed victory in seven of eight meetings, and covered the spread in eight of 10. With both these teams averaging well over 120 points per game over their past five dates, the OVER has currently enjoys a 5-0-0 run in totals betting.

The Suns closed out their recent four-game home stand with consecutive wins, but have covered in just two of seven contests. Phoenix has been steady on the road, improving their league-leading road record to 23-5 during a sparkling 12-1 run. Now set to hit the court as 9-point dogs for the first time since December 2019, the Suns have work to do to reverse a dismal 4-20 run when listed as underdogs by eight or more points. The Bucks have averaged 122.7 points per game while ending a 1-4 slide with three straight wins, but have covered just twice during a middling 4-4 run on home hardwood.

Phoenix Suns

Already missing Chris Paul indefinitely with a hand injury, the Suns will also be without Devin Booker for a third straight game due to an inconclusive COVID test.  Cameron Johnson is coming off a sensational 38-point performance in Friday’s 115-114 win over New York, but will be sidelined on Sunday with a quad injury. The leaves the Suns attack in the hands of Deandre Ayton, Michal Bridges, and Jae Crowder, who combined to score 40 total points last time out versus the Knicks.

Milwaukee Bucks

Giannis Antetokounmpo maintained his recent torrid pace with a 34-point, 15-rebound outing in Friday’s victory over the Bulls, and has now averaged 33.2 points and 14.7 boards per game while recording double-doubles in six straight outings. Not to be overlooked is the continued steady production from Jrue Holiday, who has averaged 24 points and eight assists over the past three games, but averaged just 15.3 points per game in three home dates versus Phoenix during last season’s NBA Finals.
