A rematch of the Western Conference finals that went seven games last spring is the main course for NBA bettors on Saturday night.

NBA Point Spread and Betting Analysis

The Rockets opened up the second half of the campaign in a losing effort after failing to drop LeBron and the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night. Houston is just 3-7 against the spread in its last 10 games and 26-31-1 ATS on the season.

The Under is 3-1-1 in the club’s last five contests, but the Rockets are a better Over bet on the season overall. The Over is 32-25-1 in their games so far this year.

Golden State snuck past the Sacramento Kings on Thursday in Oakland. The defending champs won 125-123 but came nowhere close to covering as 12.5-point favourites. The Dubs are among the worst spread bets in the Association at 24-33-1 ATS.

Houston avenged its series loss to Golden State by winning both the first two matchups against G-State this season. The Rockets won the last meeting by a single point in overtime. Total bettors take note: The Under is 8-2 in the last 10 games between these two sides.

The Rockets are the second worst road bet at 10-19 against the number while the Warriors are among the worst home ATS teams at 11-18-1 ATS.

Houston Rockets

Losing to the Lakers wasn’t the result Houston supporters were looking for but there were positive takeaways from Thursday night. Chris Paul played one of his best games of the season and finished the game one assist shy of registering a triple double. Clint Capela played his first game since the middle of January and looked good.

If CP3 and Harden don’t foul out, the Rockets most likely take down the Lakers and enter Saturday’s tilt against the Dubs on a high note.

Golden State Warriors

Steph Curry recently stated he’s playing better now than he was three years ago during his second MVP-winning season. There’s no chance Curry will nab the honour this year but he may be right about his current level of play being superior than it was during the 2015-16 campaign.

Curry is averaging 28.8 points per game (second in the NBA) while shooting 48.9 percent from the field. That number is incredible considering Curry attempts 11.6 three-points a night.
