Will Curry have revenge on his mind why he sees Kyle Lowry and Co. on the court?

NBA Point Spread and Betting Analysis

The Raptors got back on the winning track after their 123-114 victory against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night. The result snapped a three-game losing streak and gave them their first win on their current West Coast trip.

Toronto lost in Denver on Sunday after allowing a single-game, season-high 133 points. The Raps gave up 114 points to the Suns on Tuesday but they still covered as 3.5-point road favourites. The Over is 2-0 in their last two games, but 2-5 in their last seven.

The Drakes remain in second place in the East at 43-18 but 30 of those wins are against conference opponents. They’re just 13-8 straight up (12-9 against the spread) against West foes. This will be the first matchup between the two sides since the Raptors won their first NBA championship in franchise history on the Warriors’ home court last June. Golden State no longer plays in the Oracle Arena and it no longer has Kevin Durant on the roster. An injury plagued campaign has the Dubs thinking about the NBA lottery instead of the playoffs.

The Warriors are 14-48 SU (29-33 ATS) on the season, but 2-1 (SU & ATS) in their last three games. They’re coming off a 116-100 win over the Denver Nuggets as 16-point away underdogs. Golden State is a league-worst 7-24 at home this season.

Toronto Raptors

Injuries continue to riddle Nick Nurse’s lineups. The Raptors head coach will be without starting centre Marc Gasol and could be without big man Serge Ibaka and point guard Fred VanVleet.

Nurse had to be happy to see Pascal Siakam with a strong offensive performance against the Suns. The All-Star forward collected 33 points on 12-of-20 shooting from the field. He had made just 15 of his last 44 attempts from the field in the two games prior.

Golden State Warriors

It’s unclear if Curry will be working on a minutes restriction as he plays his first game since October of last year. He’s not the type to shy away from impacting the offence when he is on the court.

It’ll be interesting to see how he plays with Golden State newcomer Andrew Wiggins. The Canadian native has been putting decent stats since joining the Warriors on trade deadline day. Will he and Curry have any chemistry on the court?
