Raptors vs. Pacers Prediction: NBA Odds, Point Spread
The second of a home-and-home between the teams, and the Raptors have a few of those left this year. They visit Memphis on March 28 and host the Grizzlies two nights later. On April 1, Toronto goes to Milwaukee and then hosts the Bucks two nights later. It’s fairly unusual for one team to sweep a home-and-home in the regular season. Different story in the post-season.
NBA Point Spread and Betting Analysis
Toronto is 13-31 all-time at Indiana and has lost its past two. The Dinos were beaten there 120-115 in overtime on Dec. 23 in what was the second of a back-to-back for the Raptors. Aaron Holiday hit two key 3-pointers in the OT and finished with 19 points and 10 assists. TJ Warren and Myles Turner each had 24 points, and All-Star Domantas Sabonis 12 points and 17 rebounds. Former All-Star guard Victor Oladipo had yet to make his season debut off a serious injury suffered on Jan. 23, 2019, vs. the Raptors in Indianapolis.
The Raptors missed 17 of their first 19 from deep and finished 11-for-40 from behind the arc. Kyle Lowry missed one at the end of regulation to win. He had 30 points, nine assists and six rebounds. Pascal Siakam and Marc Gasol were both out injured.
Toronto is 5-2 ATS in the past seven in this series. The under is 9-1 in the past 10 at Indiana.
Toronto Raptors
The Raptors rolled a pair of 12s on Wednesday, rallying from down as many as 19 to beat these Pacers 119-118 to win a franchise-record 12th straight game overall as well as a 12th in a row at home against Indiana. Serge Ibaka hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with 30 seconds left and finished with a season-high 30 points. Lowry was spectacular with 32 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds.
With Marc Gasol and Norman Powell out injured again, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson returned after a four-game absence and played 13 minutes. Toronto scored 27 points off 19 Pacers turnovers, and the Dinos’ 37-14 record is their best after 51 games. The Raptors are 12-4 ATS in their past 16 vs. Central Division opponents.
Indiana Pacers
The Pacers had no right losing Wednesday, allowing Toronto to score the game’s final 11 points. Oladipo started for the first time since returning from injury last week and had a season-high 13 points in 25 minutes. He remains on a minutes restriction. Sabonis had 15 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for his third career triple-double, while Justin Holiday had a season-high 22. T.J. Warren missed his second in a row Wednesday with a concussion. He’s second on the team in scoring at 18.1 ppg.
While the Pacers are on a three-game losing streak and just a .500 team on the road, they are 18-7 at home and have outscored opponents by an average of 5.1 points per game in Indianapolis. Indiana is 4-1 ATS in its past five vs. Eastern Conference teams.
