NBA Point Spread and Betting Analysis

The Raptors took care of the Detroit Pistons in convincing fashion with a score of 123-94 and got back to their winning ways. Toronto is 8-1 straight up and 7-2 against the spread in its last nine games. The Dinos are still first in the Eastern Conference at 42-17 SU and own a 33-26 ATS mark on the season.

The Magic fall into the category of bad team but good bet. Orlando is just 10-38 SU after opening the season with an 8-4 start. The Magic are keeping things close despite another season headed for the draft lottery rather than the playoffs. Orlando is 14-5 ATS in its last 19 games.

The Magic have given the Raptors problems in the past. Toronto is just 3-7 ATS in its last 10 games against Orlando. The two teams have yet to play this campaign. Wednesday’s game is the first of three matchups between the two sides before the close of the regular season.

Toronto Raptors

February has been a great month for the Reptiles. Toronto is outscoring its opponents by an average of 15.5 points per game over the last 27 days. The record for best point differential in the month of February was set by the 1990 Phoenix Suns at +15.3. Toronto will own the record if it handles the Magic.

Serge Ibaka returns to the Magic Kingdom with a hot hand on the offensive end. The big man is averaging 19 points while shooting 43.8 percent from 3-point range over the last three games.

Orlando Magic

There have been many things to go wrong for Orlando this season, but injuries would have to be at the top of the list. Aaron Gordon is questionable to play on Wednesday because of the same hip injury that kept him out of the lineup for 10 games, center Nikola Vucevic missed 23 games with a hand injury, and Terrence Ross is most likely done for the season with a knee injury.
