The Raptors fell apart late in the fourth quarter against Sacramento on Wednesday, falling 122-107 against the Kings. The Clippers were just in action on Friday night, winning their third straight game, 107-98, also in Sacramento.

L.A. is a 6.5-point favourite to win on the NBA odds, with the total set at 224.5.

Raptors vs. Clippers NBA Betting Odds

The Clippers have swept the last two season series’ and won eight of the last 10. Playing in La-la-land has been a continuing problem for the Dinos as they’ve also lost four straight against the Lakers, who they play on Sunday.

The Raptors and Clippers have both been good options for bettors early in the season. Toronto is 7-2 against the spread, while L.A. has covered in six of nine games.

These teams trend in different directions on the total, however. The Raptors have hit the Over seven times compared to three times for the Clips. The Over/Under has split evenly in the last 10 head-to-heads, so it could be a coin flip.

Toronto is still looking for their first road win after starting the year 0-4 outside of Scotiabank Arena. The good news for the Dinos is L.A. hasn’t dominated at the brand new Intuit Dome, winning just two of six home games, so far.

Toronto Raptors

The fourth quarter really hurt the Raptors on Wednesday, as they were outscored 33-14 in the final period. RJ Barrett led the way for Toronto, scoring a team-high 23 points, while Davion Mitchell added 20 points and Chris Boucher had 17. Gradey Dick regressed with a season-low seven points. Barrett had scored 30 or more points in three of his last four games entering Wednesday and he currently leads Toronto with a career-high 25.7 points per game. Dick is second at 20.0 ppg.

The Dinos desperately need to find a way to win on the road. Toronto is the last remaining winless road team this season and they’ve lost seven straight road games dating to last season. They’re being outscored by an average margin of just over eight points on the road and with Scottie Barnes sidelined by an orbital fracture, reinforcements aren’t coming to help anytime soon.

Los Angeles Clippers

Former Raptor Norman Powell had a great night for the Clippers on Friday. Powell posted his first career double-double, finishing with a game-high 31 points and 12 rebounds. James Harden chipped in 22 points and Ivica Zubac added 13 points and 15 boards. Powell (25.7 ppg) and Harden (20.9 ppg) lead the team in scoring. Harden also leads in assists (9.2, third in NBA), steals (1.8) and blocks (1.1), while Zubac is averaging a team-best 12.8 rebounds (third in NBA).
