Victor Oladipo and the offensively-charged Indiana Pacers hope to make the Toronto Raptors their latest victims on Friday when the two sides meet for the first time this season.

Betting Analysis

The Raptors opened as 1-point road favourites with the total set at 216 on the NBA odds board. Toronto is coming off a 108-100 loss to the Knicks as a 4-point favourite on Wednesday night. The setback puts the Dinos at 11-6 straight up and 10-7 against the spread with the under covering in nine of their 17 games.

Indiana is on a four-game winning streak with its latest victory Monday night against at Orlando against the Magic. Three of the four wins during the hot streak came with the underdog tag on the Pacers. Indiana is 10-8 SU and 11-7 ATS with a 9-9 over/under mark on the year.

About 63 percent of SIA bettors like the over while 99 percent expect the Raptors to cover as 1-point road chalk.

Toronto Raptors

Things were going great for the Raptors at MSG on Wednesday and in a blink of an eye it all crumbled. Toronto took an 11-point lead into halftime and then played the one of the worst quarters in franchise history.

The Knicks put up 41 points in the third quarter including a stretch where they outscored the Raps 28-0. Toronto made one of its 16 shot attempts from the field in the quarter and leading scorer DeMar DeRozan was held scoreless for in the second half altogether.

The squad will need to recover quickly. They’re playing a rested Pacers team on Friday and then play at Atlanta the next night.

Indiana Pacers

Is it possible Indiana became a better team after it traded away All-Star Paul George to Oklahoma City for Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis? The fact this is something even worth debating comes as a shock to most hoop heads. Oladipo is averaging 22.9 points per game while shooting 44.7 percent from 3-point range and Sabonis is providing excellent minutes off the bench.
