Pacers vs. Raptors Point Spread: NBA Odds, Prediction
The peaks and valley of an NBA season can be trying for basketball bettors. Toronto backers are seeing their team in the middle of one of those valleys right now. A banged-up Raptors side tries its best to snap a two-game losing streak when they host an Indiana team playing on the second night of a back-to-back.
NBA Point Spread and Betting Analysis
The Pacers owned two of the best betting streaks in the Association before Tuesday night’s slate of games. Indiana was riding a seven-game winning streak before it lost outright as a 12.5-point home favourite against the Cleveland Cavaliers last night.
Of course, the Pacers’ other betting trend lived to see another day. The Under improved to a perfect 11-0 in the club’s last 11 contests. Indiana is one of the best Under bets in the NBA with its 11-20 Over/Under record.
Toronto returns home after a disappointing finish to its four-game road trip. Yes, the Dinos took down a fully-healthy Golden State side, but losses in Portland and Denver drops their season record against the spread to just 15-17.
The Raptors are 3-3 SU in their last six matchups and 3-7 against the number in their last 10 games overall. The Over is 15-6 in Toronto’s last 21 home games and the Pacers are 11-26 ATS in their last 37 trips north of the border.
Indiana Pacers
Indy is happy to have All-Star Victor Oladipo back on the floor following an 11-game absence due to a knee injury. Of course, the club would love to see him get his jump shot back.
The versatile combo guard is averaging 6.8 assists and 6 rebounds since making his return four games ago. Unfortunately he’s averaging just 16 points while shooting 42.5 percent from the field. He shot just 4-for-15 on Tuesday night against a bad Cavaliers team.
Toronto Raptors
Kawhi Leonard’s MVP campaign is taking a hit these days. Leonard leads the Raptors in points, rebounds and steals per game but the Dinos are 4-0 SU and ATS without him in the lineup. Conversely, Toronto is 1-2 SU and 0-3 ATS without Kyle Lowry.
There’s a chance the Dinos will be missing Lowry again on Wednesday. The All-Star point guard is questionable to play due to injury as is starting forward Pascal Siakam.
