Harden was a late scratch on Saturday because of a hand strain and is listed as questionable on Tuesday. The former Houston Rocket averages 23.0 ppg and is second in the NBA with 10.1 assists per night. LaMarcus Aldridge is out against Phoenix after leaving Saturday’s game early with an ankle injury. Joe Harris remains out indefinitely after reportedly suffering a setback following ankle surgery in November.
Phoenix Suns
Phoenix overcame a 12-point fourth quarter deficit to hit 10 consecutive wins on Sunday. Booker finished with a game-high 28 points, while Mikal Bridges added a season-high 26 points and eight rebounds. Chris Paul came up huge, scoring 20 points to go along with eight rebounds and a mammoth 19 assists. Booker leads the team with 25.1 ppg, while Paul averages a league-high 10.3 assists per game. JaVale McGee scored five points and seven rebounds after missing the previous two games with a knee injury.
Deandre Ayton, who is second on the Suns with 16.8 ppg, will miss his eighth straight game on Tuesday due to an ankle injury. There is no timeline for Ayton’s return. Jae Crowder and Cameron Payne will each miss their fourth straight game with wrist injuries.
