The Raptors return home after completing a two-game sweep of the Indiana Pacers and welcome Spencer Dinwiddie and the Brooklyn Nets to the Scotiabank Arena. The Nets hope to snap the Raptors’ franchise-best 13-game winning streak and pick up their first win north of the border since 2015.

NBA Point Spread and Betting Analysis

Brooklyn is 5-2 straight up over its last seven games after playing seven straight opponents with losing records. The schedule gets harder for the Nets as they play the 76ers and Pacers after tonight’s game against the Raptors.

The club is coming off a 41-point win over the injury-depleted Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night. The Nets are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games and are averaging 122.6 points during the same stretch.

Despite the high point totals, the Under is 3-0 in Brooklyn’s last three contests and 12-11 in the squad’s 23 away games this season. The Nets are 1-10 against the number in their last 11 games as underdogs.

The Raptors are 38-14 – their best record through 52 games in franchise history – and only a game back of the Los Angeles Lakers for the second best record in the league. Nick Nurse’s crew is 9-4 against the number during the active 13-game win streak and 30-22 ATS on the campaign.

Toronto is 15-7 ATS in its last 22 instances playing on the second night of a back-to-back set of games. The Over is 5-1 in the Dinos’ last six contests and 17-5 in their last 22 games following an ATS win.

A little over 60 percent of Sports Interaction bettors are backing the Raptors to cover as 7.5-point home favourites against the Nets while nearly 75 percent expect the game to go Over the 222.5-point total.

Brooklyn Nets

The Nets are missing Kyrie Irving again. The former All-Star point guard is averaging 27.4 points and 6.4 assists per game but he’s played in just 20 of Brooklyn’s 50 games this season.

He’s out with a knee injury and isn’t expected to return to the lineup until the middle of the month. Luckily for Brooklyn supporters, the Nets have a more than capable Plan B option at point guard. Spencer Dinwiddie is averaging a career high 21 points per game and – even better – he’s played in all of Brooklyn’s games.

Toronto Raptors

The injury bug has reared its ugly head in Toronto again. Kyle Lowry injured his neck during Friday night’s win against the Pacers and is doubtful to play on Saturday. He’s not the only Raptor who’ll be missing.

Norman Powell remains out with a hand injury and Marc Gasol is still iffy on his return from a sore hamstring.
