Veteran point guard Patty Mills also stepped up on Saturday with a season-high 34 points, and has now averaged over 25 points per game over his past four outings.
Los Angeles Clippers
The loss of George further hobbles a Clippers attack that was already struggling through the season-long absence of Kawhi Leonard. LA’s 25th-ranked attack sputtered once again in Sunday’s 103-100 loss to the visiting Denver Nuggets, and has now averaged just 100.6 points per game during the team’s 1-4 slide. Overall, the Clippers sport a middling 3-4 straight up record this season without George in the lineup, including losses in each of their past three. The team has averaged 107.4 points per game without George, and has seen the UNDER go 5-2 over that stretch.
