The Raptors have a chance to tie their franchise record for most consecutive regular season wins when they host the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night. The Mavericks aren’t going to the playoffs but they haven’t checked out just yet on their season.
NBA Point Spread and Betting Analysis
The Raptors are double-digit favorites for the 14th time and they’re 10-3 against the spread when favored by 10 or more points this season. Toronto improved to 51-17 straight up and 40-28 ATS following Thursday’s win and cover at Indiana.
The Dinos have won 10 in a row and 17 of their last 18 games. They’ve been lining the pockets of their backers over the stretch too with a 14-4 ATS record.
Dallas is a winning ATS bet this season despite being 24 games under .500 and in 12th place in the Western Conference standings. The Mavericks are 3-1 SU in their last four games and 6-3 ATS in their last nine games. The under is 3-0 in the Mavs’ last three games and 38-29-1 on the season.
Dallas won 98- 93 at home the day after Christmas against the Raptors. It was the club’s first victory over Toronto since February 2015. About 78 percent of Sports Interaction bettors are backing the Raptors to cover as 12-point chalk against the Mavericks while 71 percent expect the game to go over the 212.5-point total.

He came into the league with a bad haircut and sweet shooting stroke and he’ll leave as a stiff-legged zombie but the jumper will still be intact. This could be the last opportunity for NBA fans in the Toronto area to see future Hall of Famer Dirk Nowitzki on the hardwood. The German gunner has said he’d like to play 20 years in the NBA but it’d be difficult to see him returning to a Dallas team that will only be worse next season.

The Dinos showed off their defense in the fourth quarter against the Pacers on Thursday. Indiana hit just seven of its 19 shots from the field in the final frame and was outscored 29-20 in the final 12 minutes. Toronto owns the best fourth-quarter defensive rating (97.7 points allowed per 100 possessions) in the Association as pointed out by Blake Murphy of Raptors Republic.
