The Golden Warriors are returning home on Monday following their 119-100 loss in Toronto on Saturday.  Golden State will look to avoid losing consecutive games for the first time this season when they host Sacramento.  The Kings are playing the second half of a back-to-back after a 121-114 home win against San Antonio on Sunday.

Golden State is a 12-point favourite to win on the NBA odds, with a total of 222.5.

Kings vs. Warriors NBA Betting Odds

This is the second meeting between these teams this season.  The Warriors took down the Kings 119-107 in Sacramento on Oct. 24 as Steph Curry finished with a game-high 27 points.

It’s been a struggle for Sacramento this season.  The Kings sit at 13-18 on the year, including 7-9 at home.  They’re just 14-17 against the spread for the season, although it’s worth noting they’ve covered in eight of their last nine road games against the Warriors.  The total has gone Over in five of Sacramento’s last seven games.

The Warriors return home where they’ve won 14 of 16 games this season.  They’re 18-10-2 ATS overall, but they’ve failed to cover in five of their last six games.  The total has gone Under in nine of Golden State’s last 13 games.

Sacramento Kings

Sacramento’s shooters came to play in their last outing as they shot 50.5 per cent from the floor and dropped 14 3-pointers in the win over San Antonio.  Buddy Hield finished with a game-high 29 points, Tyrese Haliburton had 27 points and 11 assists and Damian Jones dropped 23 points and eight rebounds.  Hield was clutch, knocking down seven 3-pointers and scoring 18 of his points in the fourth quarter.  The performance brought Heild’s 3-point average up to 3.6 per game, second-best in the NBA behind 3-point king Curry.  The team’s leading scorer, De’Aaron Fox, missed the game in COVID protocols and isn’t expected to play on Monday.  Fox is averaging 21.3 ppg.

Golden State Warriors

Expect a much more competitive Golden State team than the one that lost to Toronto on Saturday as the Warriors were missing Curry (rest), Draymond Green (right hip tightness), Andre Iguodala (right knee management), Otto Porter Jr. (left foot management), Andrew Wiggins (rest) and Jordan Poole (COVID protocols).  Wiggins and Poole are listed as out of the lineup against Sacramento, while Curry, Green, Iguodala and Porter are expected to play.  Curry is third in league scoring, averaging 27.0 ppg, and he averages an NBA-best 5.4 3-pointers per contest.  With so many stars out of the lineup against the Raptors, rookie Jonathan Kuminga finished with a team-high 26 points.
