There’s only three games on the CFL Week 18 schedule, with Winnipeg, Edmonton and Montreal idle.

The lone Friday matchup sees Ottawa hosting the Roughriders. The double-header on Saturday begins in the Six as the Argos host the Ti-Cats before the Lions and Stampeders meet in BC to battle for sole possession of second in the West Division.

Let’s dive in with our Week 18 picks and betting odds.

Saskatchewan Roughriders at Ottawa RedBlacks

The RedBlacks come off their bye week at 4-10 and somehow still have a chance to make the playoffs, albeit slim, sitting last in the entire CFL. Ottawa not only has to win out, but they need Montreal to suffer an epic collapse and lose their last three games.

Saskatchewan leads the league with a 10-4 record, but could they be slipping after suffering back-to-back losses? A.J. Ouellette certainly isn’t slowing down. He’s found the end zone in four straight games and sits second in the CFL in rushing yards (1,057), four behind leader James Butler of the Lions.

The RedBlacks are playing desperate, but there’s essentially no chance they make the playoffs and this should be a get-right week for the Riders.

Pick: Saskatchewan

Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Toronto Argonauts

The Ti-Cats were absolutely crushed 40-3 in Winnipeg last week, but they still lead the East Division with a 9-6 record. Hamilton has already clinched a home playoff game and at 5-1 against the East Division this season, they’ll be a handful for Toronto.

Nick Arbuckle returned to the Argos’ lineup last week in BC, but it wasn’t enough to prevent a second straight loss. At 5-10, Toronto has been hot and cold all season and with Arbuckle listed as a limited participant at practice this week, the team will be in tough.

Pick: Hamilton

Calgary Stampeders at BC Lions

Sole possession for second place in the West Division is on the line when 8-7 BC hosts 8-6 Calgary on Saturday.

The Lions have reeled off three straight wins and boast the CFL’s top running back in James Butler (1,061 rushing yards) and top receiver in Keon Hatcher (1,404 receiving yards). BC leads the league in offensive scoring (29.5 points per game), offensive TDs (48), net yards (423.9 per game) and passing yards (315.8).

Calgary is trending in the complete opposite direction with three straight losses. The Stamps have given up a league-low 29 offensive TDs this season, but they are dead last against the run (112.6 yards per game).

The Lions have a chance to sweep the season series and claim the tiebreaker in a tight West Division race, so I like them to roll at home.

Pick: BC
