When it was announced that the co-headline fight at UFC 200 would feature WWE wrestler Brock Lesnar versus Mark Hunt, oddsmakers were hesitant to give Hunt the advantage, but current odds have settled into Hunt being a -125 favorite and Lesnar being the +115 underdog. Hunt himself doesn’t seem particularly worried about getting into the Octagon with the 38-year-old Lesnar, who hasn’t been in a UFC fight for almost five years.

Hunt is 42 years old, and is 12-10 in his UFC career. When speaking to Inside MMA, Hunt was clear in his opinion about what it meant to him to fight Lesnar, saying:

“I don’t think it’ll get me any further or closer to a title shot; it just makes my name even bigger. I think if I beat Brock – he’s not even in the top 10, to be honest.”

The last two times Lesnar faced an opponent in the UFC was when he was beaten by both Cain Valasquez and Alistair Overeen. He retired after those two defeats, claiming health issues like diverticulitis. This is being advertised as a one-off for Lesnar, who is scheduled to return to the WWE for their SummerSlam event later this year.

Lesnar vs. Hunt will be UFC 200’s co-main event, along with the fight between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones. Bet on all the UFC 200 fights right here.
