The Panthers are riding a four-game winning streak as they embark on a five-game road trip. With the first stop being in Calgary, all eyes will be on Sam Bennett and what he does against his former club. Meanwhile, the Flames are looking to put a stop to a four-game losing streak. This will not be an easy task for the Flames as the Panthers have scored 41 goals in the month of January.

The Panthers are a slight -147 favourite to win with NHL odds with a total of 6.5 goals.

Panthers vs. Flames NHL Betting Odds

This is the second meeting of the season between the Panthers and Flames. These two teams met back on Jan. 4, with the Panthers winning 6-2 over the Flames. And everything favours the Panthers in the rematch.

Do not complicate things here when it comes to the Over/Under. Hammer the Over. The Over is 11-2 in the last 13 meetings between these two clubs. And in the last seven meetings in Calgary, the Over is 7-0. So that is a play many bettors will want to take in this game.

Florida Panthers

The Florida Panthers are the best team in the National Hockey League and as head coach Andrew Brunette said “We are rolling.” The Panthers are certainly rolling. Florida is the most balanced team in the league top to bottom. Jonathan Huberdeau has 53 points in 38 games, including 15 goals, and he is tied for third in league scoring. Anthony Duclair has found a home with the Panthers, leading the team in goals with 16.

The return of Aaron Ekblad has made the Panthers a more dangerous team, especially on the power play. Ekblad has 35 points this season (10 goals and 25 assists). Plus, with the way Sergei Bobrovsky is playing, he has turned back the clock to his days in Columbus. In 27 starts this season, Bobrovsky has a 2.47 goals-against average and .921 save percentage.

Calgary Flames

Ever since COVID has gone through the Flames, they have been a different club. Calgary has eight losses in their last 10 games. And in the last four games, the Flames have been outscored 20-4. Calgary has dropped to fifth place in the Pacific Division and they average 3.03 goals per game, good enough for 15th in the NHL. Johnny Gaudreau remains the top performer for the Flames with 39 points (15 goals and 24 assists). Andrew Mangiapane leads the team in goals with 18, but has just one goal in his last nine games. Matthew Tkachuk continues to have a strong season with the Flames, recording 32 points (16 goals and 16 assists).
