It doesn’t look like anybody can stop the red-hot Toronto Maple Leafs right now. This team has won eight of their last nine games and is playing with plenty of confidence. It won’t be easy for an Anaheim Ducks team to take them down – especially since they’ve split their last six games.

Maple Leafs vs. Ducks NHL Betting Odds

The Maple Leafs are undefeated in their last six games when coming into the matchup as the listed road favourite. They have also won their last six games on the road entirely and their past four against teams in the Western Conference. Safe to say this squad is hot right now, also backed up by them being 13-3 in their last 16 games overall.

Meanwhile, the Ducks have been pretty consistent lately themselves. They have been able to win seven of their last eight games played at home and four of their past five against teams in the Eastern Conference. The under has also cashed out in six of Anaheim’s past seven contests at home. The home team has won four of the last five meetings between these teams.

Toronto Maple Leafs

Toronto has been really good on both ends of the ice. The team is averaging 2.7 goals per game behind a couple of incredibly talented scorers like John Tavares and Auston Matthews. They have been able to combine a high-powered offence with elite defence that only allows 2.2 goals per game to their opponents. Credit Jack Campbell for that stat as he has only allowed 27 goals on 476 total shots against. Toronto has to be careful on the road, though, as they are just 6-3-0 in away games compared to 9-3-1 at home. Anaheim is tough to beat at home where they are 8-3-1.

Anaheim Ducks

As indicated, home is where this team performs the best. Anaheim has had its ups and downs throughout the year but the fact that it has won seven of their last eight games at home is telling. The Ducks actually have a stronger offence than Toronto if we are looking at goals per game. They score 3.3 per contest, which puts them 10th in the NHL. That’s a massive upgrade from last season when they were second-last and scored 2.21 per outing.
