The Jets’ road trip continues in the state of Florida, starting with a match-up against the Florida Panthers. The Panthers have been off since Monday and will be missing the services of former all-star goaltender Roberto Luongo.

Goaltender Roberto Luongo left that game with a lower body injury and is could miss a couple of months. He was the goaltender of record in both games against the Jets last season, registering a goals against of 3.36 and a save percentage of .901.

Look for James Reimer to get the start against the Jets. Reimer is 4-6 this season, with a goals against of 3.67 and a save percentage of .892. Harri Sateri has been recalled from the AHL to back-up Reimer in the short-term. The Panthers are ranked 20th in goals scoring (2.85) and are led by Vincent Trocheck with 27 points (10 goals, 17 asssits).
