Super Bowl LIII Betting Odds and Updates

Saturday, Feb. 2.

77 percent of spread bettors at Sports Interaction still like the Patriots (-3, +100) over the Rams. That number has been solid all week long. The total for the big game still sits at 56.5 points.

At Sports Interaction, we offer some unique cross-sport props. Here are two of them making some noise at the book. First up, Oilers superstar Connor McDavid goals and assists on Sunday against the Canadiens (-235) versus Tom Brady’s touchdown passes (-235). Also, Todd Gurley’s total rushing and receiving yards (+260) versus the Raptors total points against the Clippers (-410). In these cases, the public is backing McDavid and Gurley.

In the game itself, over 90 percent of the public think the Rams will call the first timeout in the game (-130). If you’re curious, the Patriots are paying -115 for the same prop.

Remember, over 50 percent of the entire Super Bowl stake will be bet on Sunday between 10am ET and kickoff. Be sure to check back here tomorrow for more inside information.

Friday, Feb. 1.

If you’re looking to get movement on these Super Bowl numbers (Patriots -3, +105) you might have to wait until the weekend, and specfically Sunday morning. It’s been solid at this point, with 66 percent of Sports Inteaction spread bettors selecting New England as their winning team.

On the total, it’s a little bit tighter, as 53 percent of the Sports Interaction total bettors like the over of 56.5 points.

On the prop side of things, Donald Trump has his own section at Sports Interaction. Here are just a couple: Will Trump congratulate the winning team on Twitter? 95 percent of the public say, yes he will (-340), while 80 percent of the public thinks the winning team will indeed visit the White House (-680).

As for the game props first touchdown is always a popular bet. Currently, Sony Michel is leading the way, odds wise at +530, but Tom Brady (+3500), Jared Goff (+5400), and James White (+900) have been popular selections as of late.

Thursday, Jan. 31.

The line is solid as the Patriots continue to be 3-point favourites (+100) entering the final days prior to the Super Bowl. The Sports Interaction line management team is reporting that the Rams moneyline (+120) has received  a decent amount of interest as of late. Oddsmakers are anticipating over 50 percent of the total money that comes in on the Super Bowl, will be on Sunday between 10amET and kickoff.

The total currently sits at 56.5 points. There is plenty of talk in the industry that this number will be on the rise. The first half total is listed at 27.5 (-120) with 90 percent of the public hitting the under. Speaking of the game itself, the game prop of “will there be overtime” continues to hit at a yes at +700.

There are a couple of props making noise prior to the game. First, 85 percent of the betting public thinks that the first turnover of the game will be a fumble (+150). Also, the colour blue (+125) is the favourite to be the tie of choice for analyst Tony Romo during the Super Bowl broadcast.

Wednesday, Jan. 30.

All is quiet on the Super Bowl line front as it’s believed by many that the Patriots (listed as 3-point favourites) will hold onto that number until the weekend. At that number, money coming in on the big game will increase – and we’ll then see where that number ends up.

Props continue to be at the forefront with a couple of notables – Patriots quarterback Tom Brady rushing total for the game is posted at 1.5 yards (-150) and 90 percent of the money is currently hammering the under. By the way, Brady had 35 yards on 23 carries during the regular season.

Brady’s teammate Sony Michel’s receiving yards prop total is calculated at 5.5 yards (-185) and surprisingly 90 percent of the public is also betting the under.

As far as the halftime show goes, a new prop offered at Sports Interaction is Will Andre 3000 join Big Boi on stage (+350). The public seems to think this will happen.

Finally, the Puppy Bowl is gaining popularity each year and this year Team Fluff has 70 percent of the money over Team Ruff. This match promises to be one of the great rivalries in sports.

Tuesday, Jan. 29.

The Super Bowl number continues to sit on Patriots -3 in the early part of the week. 68 percent of spread bettors at Sports Interaction are on New England at that number. However the total is now set at 56.5 points, with a slight majority (51 percent) banking on the under.
Props are always an interesting bet for this game, and at Sports Interaction we continue to add more of them daily. Novelty bettors currently are betting the over of 105 seconds (-160) on the American National anthem sung by Gladys Knight, while at Halftime, the public seems to like Maroon 5’s first song will be either “Makes me Wonder” (+250) or “Moves like Jagger” (+600).
Interesting enough, 80% of the betting public at Sports Interaction think the coin toss result will be heads (-120), but I’ve heard “tails never fails” – maybe it does this Sunday?

Monday, Jan. 28.

This Super Bowl number opened with the Patriots posted as 1.5-point favourites, but that was quickly bought by hungry Patriots backers and it jumped to 2.5-points. Currently money continues to flow in on the Patriots as 3-point favourites entering Super Bowl week. The big question is, will the betting public get an opportunity to see the Patriots at 3.5-point favourites or does it stay at the oh-so-important field goal line?

The total opened at 58 points, but that opener didn’t last long either. Under bettors hopped all over 58 to dip the over/under to where it currently sits at 56. There is some talk in the industry that this number will rise once again. The public, especially the casual football fan, loves to cheer for points. This could be a reason why prognosticators are anticipating the rise in this total.

Due to both conference finals going into overtime -which cashed at +800 – the Super Bowl needing extra time paying +700 as bookmakers are giving it a better opportunity to hit.
