Seahawks vs. Packers Point Spread: NFL Week 10 Odds, Prediction

Russell Wilson’s back for the 3-5 Seattle Seahawks, and if healthy enough Aaron Rodgers will be quarterbacking his 7-2 Green Bay Packers.

Rodgers missing last week cost Green Bay as they lost to Kansas City in a game where Jordan Love’s offence put up just seven points. Wilson’s absence, albeit an injury and not an illness, cost Seattle too as they went 1-2 without their starting pivot the last three games. If both are back, it could be a shootout in Wisconsin. If one’s out, the opponent’s got a major advantage.

Oddsmakers are anticipating Rodgers to suit up as Green Bay’s a three-point favourite with the over-under at 49.5 on the NFL odds. Kickoff at Lambeau goes at 4:25 p.m. EST.

NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis

Head-to-head, it’s been all Green Bay. The Packers are 5-0-1 against the spread in their last six clashes with the Seahawks and Seattle’s failed to cover in any of their last six visits to Lambeau as well. Green Bay’s also won nine of their last 10 home games and are on a ridiculous eight-game streak of covering the spread overall (they’re 8-1 ATS overall).

There’s another huge trend with the over-under too. In their eight games, these teams are a combined 13-3-1 to the under and an over has yet to hit in a Seahawks road game in 2021.

Seattle Seahawks

A Week 9 bye, and a 24-point win the week prior should have Seattle feeling refreshed and ready for a second half push. They’ll need it in the ultra competitive NFC West that features two clubs with seven wins already.

Along with Wilson, running back Chris Carson is anticipated to return Sunday. Both will be of help to a Seattle offence that’s 19th in points per game with 22.6. On the other side of the ball the Seahawks had a unique disparity — they rank eight in points allowed with 21.1 but are allowing the second-most yards per game at 401.5. Talk about bend but don’t break.

Green Bay Packers

The Packers found out the hard way in Week 9 that 2020 first-round pick Jordan Love wouldn’t just be a star from the jump a la Rodgers. Love threw for 190 yards on 34 passes at Kansas City and put up a goose egg until late in the fourth.

Two field goal misses by Mason Crosby didn’t do the Packers any favours but none the less it proved how important Rodgers is. If Rodgers plays Sunday, you can count on Davante Adams to have more than his 42 receiving yards against the Chiefs. Adams is fourth in the NFL with 786 yards through the air.
