The Browns head into Week 11 still in search of their first win of the season and face a Jacksonville side with the playoffs and the AFC South division title on its mind.

Point Spread and Betting Analysis

The Jaguars opened up as 7.5-point road favourites against the winless Browns on the Sports Interaction NFL odds board. The total is set at 37.5.

Jacksonville extended its win streak to three games with its 20-17 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. The Jags failed to cover dropping their season ATS mark to 5-4 and the low scoring game resulted in the fourth under in their last five contests.

The Browns were competitive but ultimately lost 38-24 to the Detroit Lions. Cleveland is 1-24 straight up and 5-19-1 against the spread in its last 25 regular season games.

The Jaguars are now the favourites to win the AFC South division at -120 ahead of the Tennessee Titans at -110. The Jags are also among the top dozen teams with the best odds to win the Super Bowl at +2500 on the Sports Interaction NFL futures page. More than 90 percent of SIA bettors expect the Jaguars to win and cover against the Browns.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Sunday was not a good day for Jacksonville starting quarterback Blake Bortles. The fourth-year pro tossed two interceptions late in the game with his team trailing. Somehow the Jaguars still won the game. It was the first time ever in NFL history a team without the lead threw two picks with less than two minutes left and still won the game.

Whatever success the Jaguars accomplish seems to be in spite of the efforts of their man under centre.

Cleveland Browns

No news would be good news for the Browns but, unfortunately, there is news. Defensive captain and former Pro Bowl linebacker Jamie Collins suffered a torn MCL against the Lions on the weekend and is done for the season.

Cleveland also made headlines over the weekend for a headscratcher play call. The Browns were on first and goal at the Detroit two-yard line with 19 seconds left to go in the second quarter and no timeouts. They an incomplete pass on first down set up the final play of the half with 15 seconds left.

They tried a quarterback sneak on second down, got stuffed and couldn’t lineup in time to get another play off before the end of the half.
