Sure, we don’t need to put that much pressure on this game, but Green Bay is all of a sudden one game back. That and they still have Seattle, Minnesota, Atlanta and Chicago still on their schedule, so needless to say this is a big one for the Pack.
NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis
Green Bay is favoured by -10, but is certainly far from a lock when it comes to the spread. The Packers are 3-8 ATS in their last 11, while the Dolphins enter this game 4-1 ATS in their last five on grass.
Now, while their spread record on grass is decent, their quarterback once again will sadly be Brock Osweiler. Coach Adam Gase announced this week that they are targeting a week 12 return for Ryan Tannehill, so fish fans will have to put their faith in the big man once again.
Even with Brock Osweiler at the helm, this team is still in the hunt heading into Sunday. Their offense can’t seem to find points, but thankfully their defense and special teams have been able to step up as of late.
The secondary was the reason the team took down the Jets last week at Hard Rock Stadium. The late pick-six iced the game for Miami and the backend unit will be looked heavily upon to try and repeat their efforts on Sunday.
Green Bay Packers
Aaron Rodgers has not looked like Aaron Rodgers thus far. Yes, he’s been battling some injuries here and there, but we’ve really only seen glimpses of the man we thought we knew. The Pack announced this week that they’ve likely shut down receiver Geronimo Allison for the year as well with a groin injury.
Have no fear, Pack fans, enter Marquez Valdes-Scantling. The impressive rookie out of NC State has stepped up and stepped in and truly iced his role as the teams number two wide out opposite Davante Adams. MVS will be looked throughout this tilt as well against a half-decent Dolphin D.
