The Warriors have reeled off five consecutive victories to surge to the top of the West standings – and they’re strong favourites against a Trail Blazers team that has just one victory through its first nine road games this season.

G-State is a 6-point favourite to win on the NBA odds, with a total of 225.

Trail Blazers vs. Warriors NBA Betting Odds

The Warriors are favoured by six points here, and it’s not surprising to see 84 per cent of Sports Interaction bettors siding with the hosts. Portland has gone just 1-8 straight up and against the spread in nine games away from the Rose Garden this season, while the Warriors are an incredible 13-4-1 ATS for the year, including an 8-2-1 mark at home. Golden State has also dominated this head-to-head series at Chase Center, winning 17 of the previous 19 home meetings.

The total for Friday’s Pacific Division showdown is on the high side by today’s standards at 225, with 71 per cent of Sports Interaction bettors taking the Over at -110. Golden State’s game totals have remained high despite a league-wide trend toward lower-scoring contests, but the results haven’t been there, with the Warriors going just 6-12 O/U. Portland is one of a minority of NBA teams with more Overs than Unders, and is 5-1 to the Over in its past six overall.

Portland Trail Blazers

Things are starting to turn around from an offensive standpoint for Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard. After opening the season mired in one of the worst shooting slumps of his career (while leading the team in scoring just three times over the first nine games), Lillard has topped the Blazers seven times in the past nine contests, while averaging 26.9 points over that span. He averaged 29.3 points in three meetings with the Warriors last season.

Golden State Warriors

Steph Curry has only faced the Trail Blazers a handful of times over the years, but he has Portland miserable. Curry has averaged an incredible 32.3 points over his last seven encounters with the Blazers despite shooting a modest 45.3 per cent from the field and 37.1 per cent from 3-point range. The difference-maker: Curry, who averages 4.2 free-throw attempts for his career, has taken 7.7 in his last seven meetings with Portland (and made 87 per cent of them).
