Minnesota’s at 44-21 on the season after back-to-back losses, with the 41-22 Clippers right behind them in the standings.

All-Star centre Karl-Anthony Towns remains out for Minnesota with a torn meniscus, while the likes of Rudy Gobert and Anthony Edwards are also on the T-Wolves injury report but both could go Tuesday. Gobert missed Sunday’s loss to the Lakers with a hamstring injury. L.A.’s got some key health issues of their own, with Kawhi Leonard (groin) and Paul George (knee) missing Sunday’s loss against Milwaukee, although both injuries appear to be minor.

Tip-off at Crypto.com Arena is set for 10 p.m. ET with the Clippers -6.5 on the point spread and the over-under at 217.5 on the NBA odds.

Timberwolves vs. Clippers NBA Betting Odds

As long as the point spread stays at an odd number, either the Timberwolves or Clippers will have to improve one of their abysmal stretches against the spread. Minnesota is 1-7 ATS in their last eight outings, also failing to cover in six straight contests against a Western Conference opponent. The Clippers are 4-10 ATS over their last 14 games and 2-5 in their last seven against the Northwest Division.

Head-to-head, the T-Wolves are up 2-1 in the season series. Minnesota has also covered in four of their last five battles with the Clippers. These teams met back on March 3 in Minnesota, ending as an 89-88 L.A. victory (177 points) for a total that was listed pre-game at 219.5.

Minnesota Timberwolves

With Towns, Gobert, Kyle Anderson, and Monte Morris all out of the lineup Sunday, the Timberwolves still hung in there against the Lakers. That was largely in part to a hurt Anthony Edwards going for a team-high in points (25), rebounds (seven), and assists (seven). Centre Naz Reid entered the starting lineup Sunday in place of Gobert and finished with 25 points and four blocks while draining five of 10 three-point attempts.

The good news for Minnesota is that outside of Towns, they could get several banged up players back for Tuesday. Gobert averages a double-double with ease, alleviating the loss of Towns that was clearly felt Sunday — with both big men out Minnesota got out-rebounded 56-38.

Los Angeles Clippers

No Kawhi Leonard and Paul George in L.A.’s most recent outing, a 124-117 loss to Milwaukee Sunday, isn’t much to lose sleep over. The two Clippers stars were listed out with different soreness’s, and L.A. had a busy weekend after a win Saturday against Chicago in which both Leonard and George saw over 38 minutes of floor time.

Prior to Sunday’s loss the Clippers had won four of five games including a low-scoring victory over Minnesota. With 117.2 points per contest the Clippers rank just outside the top 10 in the NBA. They’re exactly 10th in points allowed (112.6 per game). But as shown to start the month, L.A. can either score 140 points in a win or 89 and still get the dub — and that’s dangerous.
