He’s coming off his best game of the season as his Spurs look to extend their ATS win streak against the Raps to seven games.

NBA Point Spread and Betting Analysis

San Antonio flies into the Tdot two days after falling to the Grizzlies in Memphis. The loss ended a nice run for the Spurs. The club had taken down the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks in back-to-back road upsets before falling on hard luck in Tennessee.

The Spurs find themselves at 16-23 (14-22-1 against the spread) and a game back of eighth place in the Western Conference standings. San Antonio is the best Over bet in the NBA with a 24-13 Over/Under record. The club has played Over the total in four straight and eight of its last 10 games.

San Antonio’s offence ranks among the top 10 in the league in both points per game (114.2) and points per 100 possessions (110.8) even though it attempts the fewest 3-pointers per game at 27.8 a night.

Toronto comes into this game well rested following a 112-110 overtime win over the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday. The Dinos failed to cover in the contest as 2.5-point road favourites. They’re now just 1-3 against the number in their last four games.

As mentioned, the Drakes haven’t had much luck against the spread versus Gregg Popvich’s crew. The Spurs are a perfect 6-0 ATS in their last six games against Toronto.

San Antonio Spurs

DeMar DeRozan totalled 36 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists in 38 minutes against the Grizzlies. He’s now averaging 29.6 points per game on nearly 60 percent shooting from the field in the month of January.

DeRozan scored 23 points and added eight assists in his last appearance in Toronto. The Dinos won that game 120-117 but the Spurs covered as 8-point underdogs.

Toronto Raptors

Help is on the way for the injury-ravaged Raptors. Norman Powell is expected to suit up for the first time since December 18th. Powell was averaging a career-high 14.4 points per game before picking up a shoulder issue on that night in Detroit.

He’s listed as probable while Pascal Siakam and Marc Gasol are marked as questionable to play for the first time in 2020.
