How much the Bucks are favoured by on the NBA odds will depend on injuries/players resting.

Raptors vs. Bucks NBA Betting Odds

This wraps up the season series between the teams, although a playoff matchup is possible. Milwaukee will clearly be in the post-season, likely anywhere from the No. 1 through No. 4 seed. The defending Eastern Conference champions are +340 second-favourites in the East behind Brooklyn (+137).

Toronto has won both meetings in close games but throw those out because Giannis Antetokounmpo missed them both, and it’s fair to say the Bucks are slightly a different club without the two-time MVP. Khris Middleton averaged 23.5 points in the two and Jrue Holiday 20.5 points and 10.0 assists, but he’s in question for Saturday.

Milwaukee leads the all-time series 54-43 despite losing the past four and is 27-22 at home. The Raptors are 6-4 against the spread in the past 10. The total has gone under in seven of those.

Toronto Raptors

The Dinos have 17 sets of back-to-backs scheduled this season. In the 2020-21 campaign, they were just 3-13 in the second of a B2B but this year a very solid 4-2. For the most part, Nick Nurse doesn’t rest players in these situations, but if they are the least bit injured or got banged up Friday in Detroit, that would obviously change things. Toronto has another tough test awaiting Monday in Miami. Pascal Siakam is averaging 26.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists in the season series vs. Milwaukee – but remember, he didn’t have to deal with defending Giannis Antetokounmpo in either. Fred VanVleet is averaging 24.0 points, 4.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds, and Gary Trent Jr. 15.0 points and 6.5 rebounds but Trent is in question.

Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks played their best game of the season without question Thursday in destroying visiting Golden State 118-99 – it wasn’t that close – in a potential NBA Finals preview. Had that been a back-and-forth thriller, one might worry about a letdown effect here for the Bucks but not with the game out of hand basically after one quarter and no key Milwaukee players getting heavy minutes. Giannis Antetokounmpo had a triple-double of 30 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists in 30 minutes. Coach Mike Budenholzer returned after missing four games in protocols, but Milwaukee remained without All-Star guard Jrue Holiday for a fourth straight game. He’s out of protocols now but dealing with a sore knee. Backup point guard George Hill returned after missing four games while in protocols.
