New Orleans is 2-8 in their last 10 outings, dropping seven straight entering this tilt as life without Zion Williamson is hitting the Pelicans hard. Meanwhile, Milwaukee is healthy and back to looking like a title contender, which was on full display when they scored 141 points in a victory at Indiana Friday.

The 32-17 Bucks are now 19-5 on home court this season and three games out of first in their conference. New Orleans is falling down in the west, sitting in fifth place at 26-24. The Pelicans are also 9-15 on the road this year, and now start a three-game road trip Sunday.

Tip-off at Fiserv Forum starts at 8 p.m. EST with the Bucks -10 on the point spread the over-under at 233, as per the NBA odds.

Pelicans vs. Bucks NBA Betting Odds

Milwaukee’s been a solid play against the spread at home this season as well, covering in 16 of their 24 home games and winning in 19. The over’s been the real trendy play though, with it hitting in 12 of the Bucks’ last 15 at home. The over is also on a 6-0 run when it comes to Pelicans–Bucks clashes in Milwaukee.

New Orleans hasn’t had much success versus the Bucks, winning one of their last five meetings with Milwaukee. The Pelicans are also 1-4 in the last five road games and have covered in only two of their last seven outings overall.

New Orleans Pelicans

The absence of Williamson, who’s been out since January 2 with a hamstring strain, has been heavily felt by New Orleans on offence. Williamson is the team’s leading scorer with 26 points per game, and during this seven-game skid the Pelicans have scored over 103 points just one time. New Orleans has averaged just under 100 points per game in their last four outings.

The team shot 42.4 per cent from the field, and went eight for 29 from three in yesterday’s defeat against Washington. C.J. McCollum lead the team with 24 points, and outside from he and Brandon Ingram no Pelicans play registered over 10 points.

Milwaukee Bucks

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s fingerprints were all over Milwaukee’s offensive explosion Friday at Indiana as the Eastern Conference All-Star captain finished with 41 points, 12 rebounds, six assists in the win. Antetokounmpo did miss 11 of 18 free throw attempts, but that can be overlooked when the Bucks as a team knock down 52 field goals and eight three-pointers. Six Bucks hit multiple threes in the win, with guard Pat Connaughton nailing a team-high four.

The Bucks are seventh in the NBA in points allowed this season with 111.9, so the Pelicans right now make for a favourable matchup. Milwaukee has given up 130 points in two of their last three games though, but on the flip side have scored 140 in both and ended up with double-digit wins.
