Indiana should be slight favourites to win on the NBA odds depending on injuries.

Pacers vs. Raptors NBA Betting Odds

This is the final game for Toronto until hosting Brooklyn on Feb. 22, but Scottie Barnes will be headed to Indianapolis this weekend for both the All-Star Game as an Eastern Conference injury replacement and also for the Skills Competition on Saturday alongside Atlanta’s Trae Young and Philadelphia’s Tyrese Maxey on Team All-Stars. Team Pacers features three players from Indiana in Tyrese Haliburton, Bennedict Mathurin and Myles Turner. The final team is former No. 1 overall picks called Team Top picks: San Antonio’s Victor Wembanyama, Orlando’s Paolo Banchero and Minnesota’s Anthony Edwards.

Of course, this also marks the first game back in Toronto for ex-Raptors All-Star Pascal Siakam, who was traded to the Pacers last month for Bruce Brown, Kira Lewis, Jordan Nwora, two 2024 first-round picks and a conditional 2026 first-rounder.

Wednesday is the second of four regular-season meetings between these clubs. On Nov. 22 in Indianapolis, the Raptors won 132-131. Siakam had 36 points and 10 rebounds for Toronto, and Barnes drove for the go-ahead dunk with 27 seconds left to finish with 20 points. Buddy Hield missed a potential game-winning 3-pointer with 1.2 seconds left for the Pacers. He has since been traded to Philadelphia. Haliburton had 33 points and 16 assists.

Indiana leads the all-time series 55-48 but trails 31-20 as the road team.

Indiana Pacers

Indiana lost for the fifth time in eight games Monday, 111-102 at a bad, short-handed Charlotte team as the Pacers look like a club really looking forward to the All-Star break. Only 102 points scored against one of the NBA’s worst defences is not acceptable. Charlotte out-rebounded Indiana by 14 to win back-to-back games for only the second time this season. All-Star Tyrese Haliburton had 13 points and 12 assists but struggled from the field again. He probably will be listed questionable for Wednesday as he usually is but has been playing.

Former Raptor Pascal Siakam had 18 points, five rebounds and four assists. Bennedict Mathurin is one of the top scorers off the bench in the league but had zero points in 15 minutes. Five players scored in double figures, and the key number there for Indiana is six as when that many score at least 10 points, the Pacers are 25-11 this season. Power forward Jalen Smith (10.8 PPG, 5.6 RG) missed a second straight game with back spasms. He seems likely to sit again. Indiana is 2-5 ATS in its past seven.

Toronto Raptors

We projected the Raptors to beat visiting San Antonio 120-114 on Monday, but the Spurs rolled 122-99 behind a historic triple-double of 27 points, 14 rebounds and a career-high 10 blocks from rookie Victor Wembanyama as San Antonio broke a seven-game skid. Since 1973-74 when blocks were first tracked, Wembanyama was just the fourth rookie and first since David Robinson in 1990 to record a triple-double with 10 blocks. Toronto All-Star Scottie Barnes was just 3-for-15 for seven points. He did leave the bench for the locker room before the game was over, which was a talking point after.

“It is definitely a learning opportunity for all the players on the team,” head coach Darko Rajakovic said. “From the young guys to older vets, this is not the performance we want to have. This is not the competitive spirit we want to have. We need to look in the mirror and figure out what we need to do.”

No starter had more than 13 points, but none played heavy minutes in the blowout. Rookie Gradey Dick led the team with 18 points off the bench, and Kelly Olynyk had 17. Dick has scored at least 10 points five times since Jan. 20 after only recording double-digit points two times in his previous 21 games. The former Kansas star is the sixth rookie in the NBA this season to make multiple three-pointers in five straight games. RJ Barrett was excused from practice Tuesday, and his status is now unclear Wednesday. The under is 8-0 in Toronto’s past eight at home.
