The New York Knicks and Chicago Bulls are set to face each other for a two-game series with the first meeting coming in Chicago on Wednesday. New York has won four straight games, winning each by double digits. They have some wind in their sails but the same can’t be said for the Bulls. They’re fresh off of a heartbreaking, last-second defeat to the Atlanta Hawks in overtime on Sunday. They’ve also lost four out of their past six overall. Can they bounce back and cool off the Knicks?

Chicago is a 4-point favourite on the NBA odds.

Knicks vs. Bulls NBA Betting Odds

The Knicks are 18-6 ATS in their last 24 games played on the road and 11-4 ATS in their past 15 games played on the road against a team with a winning home record on the season. When it comes to the total, the under has cashed out in their last six games overall and their past four when they are coming off of an ATS victory.

For the Bulls, they are just 2-5 ATS in their last seven games played at home against teams with a winning road record on the season. They are also just 2-6 ATS in their past eight when coming off a straight-up loss. The total has seen the over hit in their last four games off an ATS win, but the under is 5-0 in their last five home games against a team with a winning road record.

New York Knicks

The Knicks have had a very weird season so far but there’s been one thing that’s remained consistent in their four-game winning streak: the play of Julius Randle. Everybody thought coming into this year that Randle would be the leader of this crew and develop even more from what we had already seen. He’s been underwhelming, to say the least, but he’s finding a groove recently.

In the last four games, Randle has scored 18, 34, 33, and 27 points respectively. He also racked up 17 rebounds in one of those contests. This is a different team when Randle can play at an All-Star level – or at least close to it. Things just seem to fall into place. They rank 25th in the NBA in terms of field goal percentage, so they need his production and efficiency to stay high.

Chicago Bulls

Chicago has a lot of talent but they continue to struggle for consistency. Whether it’s a coaching issue, a chemistry issue, or simply a poorly constructed roster, the Bulls need to figure out what’s going on and quickly. Their starting lineup consists of DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine, Nikola Vucevic, Alex Caruso, and Ayo Dosunmu. Lonzo Ball is also on the roster but hasn’t played a game this year due to injury.

We’ve seen high point totals out of both DeRozan and LaVine, it just always seems like they don’t matter in the end. Depth might be a major contributing factor for the Bulls, especially on the defensive end. This team ranks 23rd in opponent field goal percentage and 24th when looking specifically at threes. They need to tighten up defensively.
