The Chicago Bulls fared well on a difficult West Coast road swing – and they hope to carry the momentum from that 3-2 performance into an extended home run as they welcome the New York Knicks to United Center on Sunday night. The Bulls rolled to wins over Denver and both Los Angeles teams to continue their hot start to the season, and they’re comfortable favourites Sunday night as they kick off a stretch of four home games in a six-game span.

Chicago is a 5-point favourite to win on the NBA odds, with a total of 209.5.

Knicks vs. Bulls NBA Betting Odds

Chicago continues to be one of the most pleasant early-season surprises for fans and bettors alike, carrying identical 11-5 SU and ATS records into this one. And the Bulls have been even more of a lock at home, having covered seven of their previous nine games at United Center dating back to the end of last season. The Knicks, by comparison, are just 7-9 ATS so far this season and have just one successful cover in their past five outings.

The Sports Interaction crowd is a big believer in the new-look Bulls, taking them to cover at a whopping 88 per cent clip. The total consensus is identical, with the vast majority of bettors siding with the O209.5 at -110. It’s a peculiar lean when you consider that neither team has been all that prolific with Overs this season; the Knicks are just 6-10 O/U and are on a six-game Under streak, while the Bulls have gone 9-7 to the Under this season.

New York Knicks

The Knicks are still struggling to find their offensive identity; their 106-99 win over Houston on Saturday marked the first time in five games they had scored more than 100 points in a game, and they’ve had six different players lead the team in scoring over their past six games. On the plus side, New York has five players averaging 12.0 points per game or more, led by star power forward Julius Randle (19.6 ppg) and guard RJ Barrett (15.3).

Chicago Bulls

We’re not quite ready to compare them to MJ and Scottie, but the Bulls’ new dynamic duo of Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan are taking the NBA by storm early in the season. LaVine (26.8) and DeRozan (26.6) have combined to average nearly 53.5 points per game while ranking fourth and fifth, respectively, in the league in scoring. They’ve helped Chicago to the seventh-best offensive efficiency in the NBA; the Bulls also rank No. 7 in defensive efficiency.
