The Chicago Bulls are a team that still drastically misses having Lonzo Ball in their lineup and now it’s unclear if he’ll even return this season. News came out on Friday that there is still no timetable for Ball and he’s in jeopardy of missing the season.

The Bulls were viewed as an up-and-coming team in the Eastern Conference but right now, they’re labouring. They’ve lost eight out of their last 12 games coming into this one, with a 132-113 defeat to the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday. Next up is the Golden State Warriors, who just saw their three-game winning streak snapped after a loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday. Which team can get the win here?

Golden State is a 7-point favourite to win on the NBA odds.

Bulls vs. Warriors NBA Betting Odds

Chicago is currently 2-5 ATS in their past seven games when allowing more than 125 points in the previous matchup. And they are also 1-7-1 ATS in their last nine games when playing on a Friday. Apparently, they enjoy looking towards the weekend a little too much. As for the total, the under has cashed in seven out of their last eight games when suffering a straight-up loss in their previous matchup.

Meanwhile, the Warriors are 2-6 ATS in their last eight home games when going up against a team with a winning road percentage that’s less than .400. However, they are 5-1 ATS when coming off of an ATS loss. The over has also been consistent, hitting in each of their last four games.

Chicago Bulls

The best way to describe this team is underperforming. They have three NBA All-Stars in the lineup, promising young stars and a lockdown defender in Alex Caruso. Despite all of this, they remain towards the bottom of the Eastern Conference. One of their biggest problems has been defending the three-point shot. They rank 29th in the league in opponent three-point percentage and this league is quite focused on three-point success right now. Along with that, they rank 23rd in opponent field goal percentage.

These lacklustre defensive numbers aren’t going to fly against the Splash Brothers and the rest of the Warriors weapons on Friday. That’s especially the case with the way that Steph Curry has been playing lately. They have to find a way to make this a grind-it-out, low-scoring affair.

Golden State Warriors

The Warriors clearly started this season with a championship hangover but they are starting to get right. Steph Curry is averaging nearly 32 points, seven rebounds and seven assists per game this year. Not to mention, he’s hitting 52 per cent of his field goals, 44 per cent of his three-pointers and 91 per cent of his free throws.

A big key here will be that the Warriors are at home. They are 9-1 when at home this season compared to 2-10 on the road. Home-court advantage has been significant for them.
